SearchWith

Search selected text with various search services.

SearchWith extension allows you to search selected with various search services. It adds a "Search With" sub menu on the context menu (right-click menu) with a configurable list of search services that can be used to search the highlighted text.

SearchWith encourages a simple context sub-menu by allowing one search engine per search service.

Hold down SHIFT key while selecting any of the search options to edit the selected text or to change the search engine associated with it.

Hold down CTRL key to quote ("") the selected text

UPDATE: Please note that SearchWith can already import search engines from the search bar. To import, go to Manage Services, Engines tab and then click Import Search Plugins. You can update the list of folders to import from under the General tab.
This means you can already use Firefox's built-in tools or Add to Search Bar addon to add search engines to your search bar and then synchronise them into SearchWith

Apologies for the mistaken "soyapi" menu item which was added for debugging purposes but was not supposed to be uploaded to the Addons site. That file has now been deleted and a new file of the same version 0.4.3 has been uploaded but not yet approved. So to re-install it, click on See older Versions while logged in and you will see a link to version 0.4.3 marked 'experimental'. Replace your current SearchWith addon with that one.
