Hi there!

First, I'd like to say that I've been using this for a long while now and love the extra visual flair that it gives to Firefox I look forward to seeing what's "coming down the pipe" with respect to the future development of this extension. :)

However, I'm having a tiny problem with the most recent version of this extension ( 0.2.8 ).

I'm using the NASA Night Launch theme and the bookmark toolbar icons are yellow rather than the default gray. This change has only come about since the 0.2.8 and is not present in the previous version. It's not a big deal, but the yellow takes away from the greyscale appearance of the theme.

Is there a way of fixing this?

So far, the only cure I can find is to toggle the icons off. That, of course, nullifies the benefit of having your extension in the first place.

If this can't be done easily, I'll live with it since what the extension brings to the table is worth the hassle of the visual dissonance. :)

BTW, I'm running FF 3.6.13 using XP SP3. I doubt this is OS specific but I figured you might want that info.

I look forward to the next release of this great extension. :)

i got around to adding icons to them

easy enough to workaround though
http://choggi.org/misc/bookmark_fix_nasanight.css
if you use stylish:
copy the text into a new style and save it
or you can copy the text into userchrome.css in your profile folder

i'll probably make it apply the style automagically for nasanight in the next version

ps. future development:
mostly just more icons (happy to take requests, but i'd prefer email or the forum thread though)

Good collection of icons, but makes Firefox significantly slower.
I wish author added two things
* Granular control of CSS rules (to drop some cutiness in order to increase responsiveness)
* Option to disable cute checkboxes.
Otherwise very well done!

it's all kinda mashed into one big file and i'm working on that checkbox option

if you'd want to send me an email with your specs (hardware / os / fx version) then we could see about doing something, but it is a big file...

The best thing about this add-on is that it doesn't distort the menus and dialog boxes the way CuteMenus - Crystal SVG does. Hooray! It also provides a convenient list of options, so the user can adjust the visual effects.

It does, however, distort the navigation bar buttons. It squishes them horizontally, so they appear narrower than they should be. It makes a circular button look like an egg! 5 stars when the developer fixes this.

Is it evolution branch of CuteMenus ?
I have that addon but dont know what the difference between CuteMenus and CuteButtons ?
Clear that up please in main description.

cutemenus isn't being updated anymore
this extension used to just add icons to buttons, it now also adds them to menuitems
so this could be considered a replacement for cutemenus

Would it be possible to add an on/off toggle for the settings & button icons? I really only want the icons added to the context menus (ala the old CuteMenus extensions); I prefer my checkboxes to still look like checkboxes in the settings menus and generally don't want icons included with the buttons (Options/Enable/Disable/Etc...). I'm sure many people like having these additional areas iconized, so I wouldn't want to see it removed from the extension, but I would greatly appreciate an additional toggle switch for those of us looking for a slightly "lighter" version.

not very likely, i started off with just button icons, and started adding the menuitems from requests, so everything is all jumbled together (400kB)

I love this add-on and using it for a long time.
but the icon that you have defined for Read It Later contextmenu item is really irrelevant.
please use this icon for it: http://userstyles.org/styles/20708

and please define and icon like this for Next Tab addon: http://userstyles.org/styles/20780
