A long-time and hopeful user of Xpunge and MultiXpunge with multiple gmail, yahoo, and corporate email accounts on Thunderbird, I have found this add-on to be essential, but problematic emptying and compacting my yahoo Trash and Spam bins. For both my yahoo accounts, I invariably have to manually empty and compact these folders, and since it doesn't work, often get TB message to manually compact. With the amount of trash and junk emails exponentially rising, this addon's capabilities are a must.
This problem happens with both my Yahoo accounts, which I've removed and re-added on multiple occasions. It doesn't happen with my gmail accounts.

is it possible for you to make this plugin for Thunderbird 74.0b2 (I love it!)
Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (1.0.0).Hi. From what I know so far, Xpunge needs a rewrite to be compatible with TB 74+. I will have to see how feasible this is and how long it might take, so currently I am not sure if/when Xpunge will be working on TB 74+.

The addon is great, but sometimes it causes to redownload whole folder once again which makes my folders 2x larger than it was before xpunging so I have to repair folder (and redownload it once more) to reduce space. If you have 30+ accounts and 150GB+ mails it is not always a good solution...

Would it be possible to ad the "Send" folder (send e-mail's)
for cleaning or custom folders...
This functionality is rather outside Xpunge's scope. If you want to get in touch by email, I can provide a longer explanation.

I have multiple accounts, some of which I've had for more than 20 years and thus tend to collect a lot of spam. I have a lot of rules defined to dump the spam into a spam folder, but clean up used to be a pain. Xpunge is a great way to quickly and easily clean out spam, empty the trash, and compress my folders all at the click of a single button.
I highly recommend this plugin as a great way to easily manage your email complexity.

I've been waiting patiently for this addon to work with Thunderbird 60.X. Hasn't been working since I upgraded. This morning I tried once again and "voila", it now works. Thank you for this little time and work saver. Now I can give you the 5 stars it (and you) deserve.

I had 2 folder, that named "Spam" (Thunderbird has self named and cannot rename) , these will not deleted with Xpunge :/

Xpunge and MultiXpunge are essential and so convenient. They complete Thunderbird and keep it clutter free. I have donated, again. Simply, the best!

Some of the functionality of Xpunge seems to be broken, so it is not as simple as changing the compatibility version.
