Works well with W 8.1 and THB 24.6 or 31.3
A menu to add corrections in the Tools (or Option) menu in Message menu would be helpful...

This add-on does not work for me.
The links are created but are not recognized by any application (FF, File Explorer, THB) except command line.
However, the idea was excellent
The author does not respond to messages.

I totally agree with the opinion of ano33 on November 5, 2010.
I would like extraction is automatic (like in the late Eudora) upon receipt of messages and a link provides access to the directory when the extracted file is fixed (frozen) in the options.
Ideally:
1. Extraction of messages at the reception,
2. Remove the attachment extracted and replacement by a link to the extracted file.

Excellent work that should be integrated into Thunderbird.
