Does not work! Until yesterday all was fine, but now my calendad disappear...
On google all is fine...
Please fix it! I use this provider from 3 yaers, but after this update....

this version does not work, once I upgraded it to the latest version I don't see my google apts in thunderbird anymore, PLEASE FIX ! as it was good while it worked.

However..... as per antoher review, one needs to remove previous xml linked calendars and relink using just the associated email address.... this works fine UNTIL the conx is lost then you need to go to each cal and open it and "Switch" it back, each time!!!

The current version shows a new "login popup" window that after submitting your credentials, it says "Your browser doesn't support javascript". There is no option to fix this.

i can see only new events created after installing 1.0.1, if I create a new event (from thuderbird) i see it on my google account calendar and vice versa; old events (future and past events) olthouhg present in my google calendar account i can't see them in thuderbird.

Could you try re-subscribing to the calendar? This should be a one time issue.

New version doesn't work at all. I had several times to go back to the previous version 0.3.2.
First it works but after a few days, a lot of events disappear. Synchronisation doesn't work bcause the events are always there on google agenda but not in thunderbord using this 1.0.1 version. A few days later, no event in the agenda...
Please go back to the previous version and improve it!

Worked great before the recent update. First it gave repeated warnings that the server is not responding or something, then when i deleted that task in google calendar now that entire calendar is gone from thunderbird lighting.

new version 1.0.1 is OK, but .... when I insert new calendar (inside i have 8 shared calendars with other people), calendars is visible for first 20 second and then TB stop or very very very slow responsing... after uninstall addon is O.K.

Be patient. The first synchronize takes a while, especially with a large calendar. Once this is done, all subsequent synchronizations will be very fast because only changes are synchronized. Do you know about how many events you have in your calendar? Maybe I can optimize performance based on this. Check the support link for my email.

The new version 1.0.1 is not compatible with the Thunderbirthday-addon:

New one is easier to setup because the special link is no longer needed from Gmail.

Addition to my former text:
I found a way to install Google Calender 1.0.1 (after it was deinstalled):
- download the xpi file from this website
- rename it (simpe name: e.g. Google_calender)
- open addons menu in Thunderbird
- drag and drop the xpi file in addons menu
- restart Thunderbird
- add new calender...

For me i have Thunderbrid v.31.1.2, Lightning 3.3.1 and Provider 1.0.1 but i have the same problem ! I remove calendard et and new but it's the same effect ... If you have a solution it's great


Now all is OK (you don't have to use calendar link but only Gmail address and password)

You say you removed the Provider version 0.25, as far as I remember I don't have any code to influence reminders in that version. Could you try updating to 1.0.1? I've made a lot of reminder changes there. For support please use the support forum link or email.

Avec la version 1.0 j'ai réussi à faire apparaitre les calendriers principaux. Comment ?
J'ai exporté l'agenda suivant la méthode sur cette page https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37111?hl=fr&topic=1672003
puis supprimé tout les évènements du même agenda
et importé l'agenda "basic.ics" dans le même agenda suivant la méthode https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37118?hl=fr&topic=1672003&ctx=topic
En plus, vous pourrez ajouter des tâches synchronisées avec votre compte google.

I'm a long time user too. Now I have error: chrome://calendar/content/calendar-unifinder.js:531 and my TB hangs. Please help. I can't live without it. :)

I'm a long-time user of Provider for Google Calendar. Yesterday I began having the same problems everyone else is complaining about. I was using an outdated version of TBird and Lightning and Provider. I upgraded each, including Provider .32. Unsubscribed from all three calendars Google calenders. Re-subscribed to each using Private XML for 2 (bi-directional) and Public XML (read only) for one, and everything is working perfectly again.

No surprises in all of this... just a normal matter of carefully upgrading and redoing things which happens with all kinds of software.

To those who are disgruntled, keep on trying: Provider really does work very well.

Yes it's work, but I must erase and new create my calendars. New is very easy loaded from my google account.

I use the Add-on "Provider for Google Calendar" since a long time. It worked always very well!

The Update to 1.0 had a bug. I have installed the old version 0.32 and it worked perfekt again.

I wrote a mail to Philip. The support with email is perfect!
He send me the version 1.0.1. And also this version works perfect.
