I take all screenshots in PNG to preserve fine line details. But when sending often a low quality JPEG is sufficient. Therefore it would be great if you could ad an option where images can be converted prior to resizing.

Hi. This is a great feature request. I will consider adding it in future releases (not the next one) if the API allows it. Thanks for the review.
EDIT: This feature has been added in v0.10.0, already available at download.
