Minimize on Close

Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle

Great add-on, works exactly as described!

Question for the dev: Is it possible to add a feature to minimize TB on start (like it was with Minimize on start and close add-on)? Or is there something in the new API that prevents this? Thanks anyway!

CardBook

I'm using this add-on for CardDAV addressbooks and it works great! Thanks Philippe!

For now I just found 1 thing that I'd like to fix: I'd like to be able to remove the "Uncategorized" sub-item in the accounts list under each account as I don't use categories so this is just a distraction. I know I can collapse the account so it's not visible, but it'd be nice to be able to hide this altogether.

Or maybe the add-on could detect if there are any categories apart from Uncategorized and if there are none, then don't show "Uncategorized". If there are, then show them + "Uncategorized".

Invia Dopo

This is a really a great add-on, I'm using it for a couple of years already. I just have 2 minor issues with it: the date picker (calendar) shows Sunday as the 1st day of the week and it would be great if the add-on could pick the first weekday from the system or/and made it available in the configuration;

Another issue is that the time values (hr:min) are taken for scheduling only if one moves the focus outside the time input area, i.e. if the auto-filled time is '03:48' and one enters '09:00' and then presses with the mouse the send-later button, only the hour would be taken, the minutes would still be '48' as the focus hasn't moved outside before the button was pressed. If one moves focus from the time input area to something else before pressing the send-later button, the delivery will be scheduled with the time specified.

mms Auto Correct

Assegnate 4 su 5 stelle

@Medvezhonok, thanks for your reply. I didn't specify the OS, it's Ubuntu 16.04.2. After the update to 52.1.1 a couple of other add-ons also stopped working, but they are not causing TB to crash, this one does.

The crash report says: "MozCrashReason: ElementAt(aIndex = 3, aLength = 3)". The crash happens just after a "new mail" or reply editor window loads (i.e. the window just appears and TB crashes).

After TB update to 52.1.1 this add-on started to cause TB to crash when opening a new (or reply) mail window (editor).

Set Default Columns

Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle

I have written a review for the previous version: everything was fine except that there was no possibility to reorder the columns.

The new version fixed that issue, now it's just perfect!

Check my previous review for a way to change columns for *existing* IMAP folders using this add-on.

Set Default Columns

Great add-on! Permits to customize the columns on new folders + if your accounts are IMAP, you can install the add-on with the corresponding config setting, quit Thunderbird, remove the cache folders for the IMAP accounts, start TB again and all your *existing* folders will have the desired columns as TB will re-create them using the add-on's setting.

If it's a new or automated IMAP deployment, it's even simpler: you just install the add-on (place it in the "extensions" folder in the profile folder), define the columns preference in prefs.js/user.js or any other MCD/automated deployment way and configure IMAP accounts. Once the user opens Thunderbird, all folders will be created with the desired columns.

The only feature that lacks is the ability to change the order of columns. As it is now, you can only turn the columns on/off, you can't rearrange them (e.g. put subject after sender/recipient).

A recommendation for the developer: there's no need to join() columns as in the example (this way it's also not working in prefs.js/user.js), you can just specify them all in one string, e.g. "priorityCol,threadCol,…,locationCol".

I've seen your code, it's extremely simple, but no matter what DEFAULT_COLUMNS is assigned to, the *order* doesn't change. Why?

Auto Password Registerer

Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle

This is an extremely useful add-on, does exactly what the description says and does it well: you can specify the settings (in prefs.js, user.js, MCD or any other auto-deployment way) to inject passwords to Thunderbird/Firefox password manager. I was looking for something similar for 2 days, this add-on should be more visible.

A recommendation for the developer: remove the "experimental" property, it works perfectly in the latest (45.8.0) Thunderbird (didn't try it in Firefox). And maybe write a blog post about it, there's just no way to find it using public search engines.
