If you accept a feature request:
It would be nice to be able to search in notes. I would not care if it would be a explicit notes-search or implicit in the normal email-search.
Another thing: an alternative column in the email list pane that contains the first words of the notes alternatively to the existing columns that just flags the existance of a note.
I would enter this in your ticket tool if I'd know how :)

Now I updated to v3 and all my notes are invisible :-/
Please release an update for the newest Thunderbird version soon.
