Like EroMraB I would like to be able to move the Tab menu (or preferably, a representative icon) to the navigation bar for direct access. I too am hiding my menu (via Personal Menu 4.1.3) and having to click Alt, then click the Tab menu adds an unnecessary step. A hidden Personal Menu also closes automatically after a selection is made in any of the menu bar drop-downs, thus engendering extra clicks to return to the Tab menu list.

I _am_ keeping this for now as nothing beats it when dealing with 10 or more tabs simultaneously.

Find it very useful to manage many tabs! Thanks!

This one is a must have for me because I was a Maxthon convert.

Very nice. Since I like to browse using the keyboard, this lets me access the tabs I want quickly. A couple of minor issues that I have with the extension is that it clashes with "Highlight all" (alt+a) of the Find Bar. I have to press alt again to deselect the menu bar. The other one is that the Numeric Keyboard Shortcuts only allow you to select tabs 1-10. If you were able to select the full rage of tabs, it would make it quicker to select the tab you want when multiple tabs share the first letter of their title.

What the hells the point? good if you have like 100 tabs open otherwise not useful.

Thanks, great tool

It's a good program, but I would use it more if you had a "Button" to go on my toolbar. I hide all of my menu items in a button and so to get to the tabs menu would entail click on the button, then going down to tabs, whereas I'd like to just be able to click on a button and have my tabs drop down... just an idea! Thanks!

Great addition! It should go in base Firefox ASAP -- because it provides keyboard jump to (almost) any tab without using the X0!x+! mouse.

I wish either the active number navigation extended past 10 into the double digits (because that's how many tabs I typically have open) -- or their were some vi-style keys mapped into the alt-A (Tabs) menu -- another way of extending keyboard-based navigation past the tenth tab.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Almost exactly... but for one minor - but I think - essential feature. If you don't mind my humble opinion (who hasn't even got around to working out how to do a firefox extension for himself)... is:

Selecting a tab via the tabs menu would be MUCH easier if the tabs listed in the menu were not in order of having opened the tab, but in order of last selected.

For example, user Eric opens tabs (in order):

1. googlemail
2. wikipedia
3. weather
4. mininova
5. rubish.com

then proceeds to view (in order)
1. wikipedia
2. rubish.com
3. googlemail
4. weather

I would hope to see in the drop down menu, the tabs in the order:
1. weather
2. googlemail
3. rubish.com
4. wikipedia
5. mininova

mininova of course would be last because i didn't view it at all after having opened it. But the last viewed would be more quickly accessible (and easy to find) closer to the top of the list.

What do you think?
If i hadn't found your tabs menu extension, i'd have done this myself... But of course, every good idea of mine is already done..... but.... without this ordering.....
please think about it! ;)

Yours Kindly,

sean

I'm about to install this on my laptop. I have it on my PC, which messed up and I'm using a laptop temporarily. Firefox just crashed a few minutes ago and I hadn't yet installed this extension. I know that if I had I would have been able to get to the tab that was hanging the browser up and close it out through Tabs Menu. In fact, that's why I installed it on my PC in the first place, and 9 out of 10 times it works. If I can't get to a tab because the browser's slow or whatever - I just go to the Tabs Menu and get to the tab I need. And having it happen now when I didn't have the extension serves as a reminder of how handy it is!

This would be even better if you could pick the position within the menu bar. I am used to the "Tools" being where the "Tabs" is now and if I could flip-flop them it would be so nice. A very nice extension indeed, very helpful when you tend to open a lot of tabs.
