Welcome! My name is Gale and my graphics handle for the past three years has been Creative Expressions.
History: For the last 16 years my forte has been mainly in graphic design. Though I have done a little of this and a little of that. See my blog titled Designs by Creative Expressions where you can download free blogger backgrounds.
Here at Mozilla I have designed over 350 personas for FireFox.
But I would like to say, just in case there is some confusion over the size of the personas, that a few designers are under the assumption that the persona images should only have a width of 1010px and 140px in height, but that's not true.
Mozilla has made the standard of 3000 x 200 px in height. The reason for the wide width is because people have different screen resolutions, some have very large or wide. So that 3000 covers it quite well. My own screen resolution is 1366 px and the personas put into my browser shows exactly that width.
The 140 in height, is not correct either. Most of the designers here make their actual images 200px in height.
Now this is the tricky part. What will show, depends on how much space you have in your toolbar area. The more toolbars or options (icons, text etc.) you use that take up space, the more of the persona you will see. I use the Multi-row Bookmarks Add on which I have like four rows of bookmarks showing so that helps. I also added spacers to move all the bookmarks left of the middle. So, I see most of the persona showing both the length and the width of it.
But the couple of designers that do not follow this formula, their's are cut off very abruptly. They look rather odd and and not very pretty or dynamic. At least in my opinion.
But anyway I hope this clears up anything you may have been told to the contrary about the size.
Other Work: Currently I have over 600 designs for various A to Z products which the public can buy from the world wide marketing firm known as Zazzle.
Education: Although I am a graduate of The Institute for Children's literature, my real love is art and design.
Work Ethic:Lately I have been focusing most of my attention with making quality Wallpaper and persona themes for the public to enjoy. Most of my images for my themes I have created myself,and either make them from scratch or use FREE stock images from various sites and build on each of them turning them into works of art. But to be honest, there have been a few backgrounds I've found with no copyright info and I've used them so if you see an image of your own and want it removed just email me and I will do so.
At the link above is my WP blog. Many of my personas have matching wallpaper there, especially the ones created in the last month or so. I sometimes put the link in the descriptions for each new persona but sometimes I forget to add it.

Thank you then. But you know people won't always tell you there's a problem with your themes being made the way you make them. But if you look at the other designers say Madonna for example, she does hers the actual size, Candelora too. Most of the designers in fact the majority here make the actual image 200 px high. But having said that, whatever makes you happy is what's important.

I really like this one. The nature background is great looking but the icing on the cake are the two people in the image. Good job!

I love this one! I have an affinity for all the wild cats, as well as nature too. You did a great job and I am so happy you filled the entire persona area. Well done!

I tried in my own browser and it still looks the same. A hard edge on the left at the end of the image. I think Photoshop has the Masking tool as well. It's just that your personas are normally 100% quality, but this one doesn't quite measure up, but it's still nice. Maybe I'm just too picky. Have a great day! :)

This is cute but the edge where the actual image is on the left is bluntly cut off. You didn't blend it. I would have used the "Mask" effect in Paint Shop Pro to fade it out or whatever other graphics program you use.
