EMail Address Crawler

Your addon is the only one I could find that allows a person to gather addresses together from a folder. I hope that it is upgraded to work with the latest versions of Thunderbird soon.

Thanks.

Folder Filters Button

Darn handy. You may wish to point out that the install does nothing and the preferences are inactive. To use, one must open the toolbar customization to manually add the button. Thanks for the helpful fix this addon provides.

Notification Viewer

There is a huge need for something like this. I think this is a fantastic idea, and extremely useful. Can't wait for the newer version. Thanks for your efforts, and keep up the good work.

Lightning

Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

Someone at ArchLinux added Lightning to the last T-bird 3.0 build, and it had a lot of visual impact and appeared very useful, especially with the new tab layout. Then they removed it in the next update a couple days later because of some display problems (which I didn't experience). I decided to install the add-on version and found it incompatible. But now I want it. I may not be able to live without it.

Do you have a time-frame you could state for the 1.0 version? It would sure be helpful to know.

Bottom line; you're doing great! Keep up the good work. And thanks.

Spam Complaint

Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

I have used this add-on for over a month and am impressed with the usefulness of the program. I have been receiving a huge quantity of spam (upwards of 50 to 100 per day), so my use is a fair test. The program is successful at least 25% of the time, and I receive a message that the problem will be handled or the spammer's account has been closed. That's making significant progress on the problem!

I agree that we still have a problem finding the correct recipient (among other issues), but using it will not increase the amount of spam. In fact, this is a great attempt at the experimental stage of development.

Some people are obviously confused about the way email works. If one has a proper firewall, there is no way that viewing a piece of email will communicate with the receipent, and with proper anti-virus one will not be at risk for attached viruses.

This add-on is a great idea with great potential. I look forward to the 1.0 version.

Stylish - Custom themes for any website

Puntuado con 1 de 5 estrellas

The major problem with the use of Stylish in Thunderbird is that there is no direct interface within the Stylish Add-on itself to allow the download and installation of styles.

Every link takes the user to their browser, and then to the Stylish download pages. The downloads are therefore always installed into the browser, rather than the email client.

I could find no place on the Stylish web site nor on the Mozilla Add-ons site where this issue is addressed. While a person can install the add-on in Thunderbird, there is no mention of installing the styles, even though some are specifically listed for TB.

This is a pretty serious usability issue.
