Great add-on, does what it says without any hiccups.
Is there any possibility of adding support for yfrog, pic.twitter, or instagram?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.0.1-signed).

I've just added for those sites (and more) in pictures linked from twitter and twitpic. Give beta8 a try.

Thanks for your review,
David

Thanks for your great work. It really makes my web experience pleasant.
The need to open a new tab or even move away from the parent page JUST to view an image is stupid & does get annoying after a while. This takes care of all tht! :D
The only complaint would be the missing "save as" icon on the enlarged image. It would make those thumbnails more interactive and the add-on perfect!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.0.1-signed).

In the current release (1.6.0) you can right-click on the thumbnail and do "Save Enlarged Image As..." to save the full-size image. I expect the next beta release to also include a hotkey ('s') for this.

i will give 5 star if it support preload larger images on websites. Just like Hover Zoom for Google Chrome.

Thanks for your suggestion; I've added it to our issue tracker here: https://github.com/dadler/thumbnail-zoom/issues/53 .
I may add it to a future release, but it'll take some work to implement. It would also use more network bandwidth, which might be a concern to people with data usage caps.

Great addon, useful for all sorts of things.

The addon is well maintained, and developer has been extremely responsive.

Hello, I was unable to view that image; if you'd like to follow-up, please email me at [email protected] . There are some occasional problems on Umbuntu Linux, which are improved (but not totally fixed) in the latest beta of Thumbnail Zoom Plus.

Great addon, is it possible to add an option to automatically preload images like in hover zoom (google chrome)?

The best link previewer there is! Very useful for seeing what a link is before clicking it. I suggest using the current beta release though, it is much better than the current release.

Super useful extension. It works very well. This addon fills a serious void in default firefox capabilities. The original 'Thumbnail Zoom' extension doesn't compare. Serious kudos to the author.

Some site like google image. there is a description under images
and the zoomed image will overlap or completely cover the description which is annoying.
I know there is an key for display an image but images there are only a few images I don't want to display so it's annoying to press a key everytime to view other pictures or changing the option every time.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.0.1-signed).

Some recent features in the released version (1.7.1 or newer) should solve this problem:

1. Thumbnail Zoom Plus now shows the Google Image description as a caption below the pop-up.

2. Due to your suggestion, I added a preferences let you set a key to prevent displaying the popup.

3. Popups no longer appear when a thumb is *scrolled* under the mouse using the mouse wheel or track pad, which avoids unintended pop-ups.

If these solve your need, please consider updating your review.
Thanks,
David

Didn't work with Amazon UK, but the developer fixed this within two days.

I've fixed https://amazon.co.uk in 1.6.1alpha12 and newer. The fix will be in the next official release.

I love this add-on. It's great to open a site and zoom all of the images on one page.
Is there any way you could make the add-on work on the site rss feeds in google reader? I have to click through to the article to zoom the images, I love to stay in reader and zoom.

The new version 1.6.1beta1 now shows popups for things like flickr images on Google Reader and Feedly. Available at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/thumbnail-zoom-plus/versions/

I've used Chrome for some time and there I discovered the Hover Zoom extension. It proved to be NECESSARY to my browsing.
I eventually came back to Firefox because some crucial add-ons are missing in Chrome and have been using this as very fine replacement ever since.
It needs just one thing to be perfect: feedly compatibility.

Improved support for Feedly and Google Reader are in 1.6.1beta1: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/thumbnail-zoom-plus/versions/

This extension is great. I don't have to scroll through my e-mail to view attachments anymore. The only complaint I have about it is that the preview pane gets in the way of the attachment link itself that you want to save when you have more than one attachment. You have to click it fast before the preview pane pops up again. If it wasn't for that, I'll give this extension 5 stars.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.8.1-signed).

To avoid this problem, either click on the "View" link instead of the thumb itself, or click on the popup to dismiss it, so you can then click on the thumb.

I thought have this set to auto would bug the hell out of me. But it's much easier to move the mouse off a thumbnail than to click a thumbnail then browse back.

It can be slightly overwhelming on the Google Image Search page because their thumbnails automatically popup slightly on hover then TZP pops up the popup. It would be great if the middleman could be cut out. But it could be argued that is not within the scope of TZP so I'll give it 5 stars.
