There are some goods and some bads with this extension. In the end I'm not going to use it currently because it disables some important functionality (or at least makes it more difficult to use said functionality). For instance, I don't find a way to delete or detach an attachment any longer. Also, message headers are as difficult to access as they are in Outlook. I think in the end they have simply gone too far in attempting to emulate gmail and have abandoned some of the unique abilities which made Thunderbird stand out.

I tested this in Thunderbird and it seems to work just fine. Thunderbird doesn't give the option to remove the original button bar (but it does shrink down to a sliver). Great extension for we minimalists.
