Add-ons I've created

AttachmentExtractor Requires Restart

**This add-on doesn't work at all on new (60+) versions of Thunderbird.**

It's not worked fully for many years and development has long ago stopped on it. But there is a successor "AttachmentExtractor Continued" (URL see below).

Send Later Button Requires Restart Featured

A simple button to invoke the (already existing) send later functions.

Allow HTML Temp Requires Restart

Allows to have HTML temporarily enabled (and displayed) in the currently selected message by only one click. When switching to another message, it'll be shown automatically again in plain text or simple html mode (according to your settings).

ConfigDate Requires Restart

This add-on only(!) provides a dialog box to exploit a hidden option in Thunderbird. With this add-on, one really only determines whether, depending on the age of an email, the long, medium or short date format is displayed in the list of emails.

Get/Send Button Requires Restart

Extends the original "Get" button (optionally) to "Get/Send" and adds a popup menu with additional functions.

You may want to use it together with the following Add-ons:
* Send Later Button (by me / Alexander Ihrig)
* Send Later (by jikamens)

My Reviews

LightningButton

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

You should not rely on Lightnings own locale strings. This leads to XUL errors for many users after upgrading to Thunderbird 68.*, when Ligntning is (maybe temporarily) disabled.

Have a look in this topic:
https://thunderbird.topicbox.com/groups/addons/T5b15e51d21e1a3e8/is-there-a-manifest-key-for-require

And the XUL error by your add-on:

Enhanced Date Formatter

Thanks for the first minor update ;-)

"locale" was meant as translations.

Enhanced Date Formatter

Great Add-on; Maybe you could add one more option for dates more than 7 days in the past. This would be great. In the next version locales could be added.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.0).

AttachmentExtractor

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

For Your Information:

A few days ago I took the last official release (1.3.5.1), worked on it and I will release a follow-up to this Add-on with the Name "AttachmentExtractor Continued" here at ATN (addons.thunderbird.net).

Maybe the original author "eviljeff" could give his okay, to re-use his website information on my website (German Thunderbird Community https://www.thunderbird-mail.de). Information regarding the continued Add-on will be in this article: https://www.thunderbird-mail.de/lexicon/entry/223-attachmentextractor-continued/

And maybe I could create a bilingual (English and German) subforum in our Support forums to hold threads regarding "AttachmentExtractor Continued".

Classic Password Editor

In Thunderbird 60 (Beta) Win-10 is the complete menu item text missing in "Tools" menu. Only the icon is visible at this menu item.
In the "hamburger" menu is a complete empty menu item (no text and no icon) from this add-on. A click on the defect item(s) opens the saved logins dialog.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.3).

Hi Jonathan,

in options.xul the hardcoded window title is false:

title="Reply to Multiple Messages Preferences"

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2).
