This Add-on was very helpful and easy to use!
But I have the same problem with the password... always prompted for password since today because of API-changes. Is there any workaround?
Thanks in advance!

I'm experiencing the same password issue from today. Until this morning all was perfect.

I am facing the password-issue, too. Obviously the reasion for this is that the API used by this Addon is marked as depricated by Google since two years. And now Google switched off support for this depricated interface.

Google has totally revamped it's "Google Contacts". It's an extra application now and no longer part of "Mail". So this plug-in will have to be reprogrammed in greater parts. I hope it doesn't last too long. Maybe we should donate to the author (again)?

Meanwhile edit your contact directly on the new "Google Contacts" page: https://contacts.google.com

Was working perfectly until now - As with others, I'm getting a repeating password window appearing; it's not accepting my password anymore.

I've enabled the log and this is what it says:

[Auth] 404: Not Found
auth again

I can confirm the problem with passwords; suddenly three accounts do not work anymore.

I have a similar password problem for the Google Contacts extension as several other reviewers'. I deleted all passwords from password manager. Two were restored but not Google Contacts. Please look into this problem with your magnificent extension.

This is a brilliant and simple app. For me, it just works!
I had a little problem for a few minutes after I set some options in the "conversion" tab. I could not see "home" phone numbers. Google main phone needs to be set to "---" to simply see all phone numbers available. This powerful app simplu works in a clean and helpful way, importing Gmail groups as folders seemlessly and syncing in both directions. I am running the most recent Thunderbird, 31.6.0. No problems!

I really love this app, but, from time to time, I get prompted to enter the password for my gmail account over and over again. Of course, I have verified that my password is correct, but, the problem persists. Anyone else have this problem? or Anyone know what I may be doing wrong? Thanks!

Followup: I may have found the problem. Password manager had stored not only the new password for gmail, but did not delete the old password. It was getting confused. You need to go into password manager and ensure that everything in there is accurate and not duplicated.

When it works, it works seamlessly. However, it only seems to work when changes are made outside of TBird. Whenever I make an addition or change to a contact in TBird's address book, I have to fight with TBird and Google for the change to propagate out.

Also, it only seems to sync when starting TBird, resulting in having to restart the program anytime I've updated my contact list.
