3.45.6 is not quite correct in my thunderbird 45.0 The text in the message-header looks somehow "foggy" (not clear). 3.45.5 works okay.
AND: Could you please, please bring back the white /grey-structure in the message-pane back?

I'm not sure what do you mean. Could you please send me an screenschot with marked "foggy" message-header? Which OS are you using? Mac, linux, windows (vista, 7, 8, 10)?
