This seems like a pretty decent addon, that's why I gave it 3 stars. However there are reasons why the delay has been included in firefox extension installs...

Use this at your own risk! The delay is intentionally there. Check http://www.squarefree.com/2004/07/01/race-conditions-in-security-dialogs/
