Fantastic Addon. It broke on TB v78.2.2 but realized all I had to do to get it work again (contacts weren't coming up in autocomplete during compose) was to click the checkbox in cardbook preferences (general tab) to make it Unique Source for contacts.

Love this add-on. It's compatible with thunderbird converstations which is a nice plus (it tiles the pictures vertically at the side of the email windows when converstations add-on is enabled rather than at the top which is I think very appropriate).
Would love to see a feature where I could set priority on which photo is used. i.e. prefer linked-in photo if both linked-in and facebook have photos.
Addressbooks Default Search

Good add-on. The default search string is applied to ALL addressbooks. It took about five minutes after installing the addon for the search string to be applied. If you have contacts in your addressbook that don't have email addresses, like for example just a name and phone number it would be difficult to apply a search string that would return ALL entries. If you click the 'x' in the addressbook search box, it clears the default search string so you can see all your entries if you have contacts without email address.
I was hoping it would apply the search string to the Contacts Sidebar but it does not. However this is not a shortcoming of the add-on but rather a compatibility issue. I don't expect it to work with other add-ons.
Would be cool if it was able to be applied only to certain addressbooks.

This is definately a must have for anyone with ldap addresbooks!
Although, it has become less useful in the new releases now that the autopopulate ldap addressbooks has stopped working.

The single best thing to happen to my email. Ever. It used to take me an hour to sort through my email at work. Now it takes me 10 minutes thanks to the threads and that sweet sweet, Quick Reply. Giddy-up!!!
