You can easily color code your account folder icons in Thunderbird 78+ using the built-in folder-color changer (in folder > Properties).

I enjoyed using this add-on to keep my personal and work email accounts visually organized in Thunderbird. Was very disappointed when it stopped working, until I found the work around. Hope this add-on gets updated soon.

I switched back to an older version so that I can keep Account Colors. I will wait to be sure that the updates are compatible with this application, essential if you have several email addresses. So Thanks for updates

I can't even explain how upset I am that this is not longer supported. I became VERY dependent on this over the years between the 5 email accounts I have. Now I'm kinda F-ed

I agree with all the other latest reviews, it is indeed very frustrating that after each update of Thunderbird several great add-ons like this one can't be used anymore. So yes I am also very much looking forward to the updates of Account Colors so they can be re-installed and activated again!

How unwise that Thunderbird forced this great addon out by making it incompatible with TB's new release. Many thanks to the addon developer for creating and updating this great tool for many years. Btw, would you consider raising donations for a new, updated version? I would be happy to contribute.

So sad to read that you are not continuing this add-on. This and Header Tools lite ceasing will stop me updating TB for the foreseeable even though the change will become inevitable.

Hello. This add-on is very useful. I make a request for that, if could be possible to set the font size (Account Font Size, Subject Font Size, From Font Size) less than 10 points ( for example: from 8 points). Currently, the least you can set is 10 points.
Add-on "Theme Font & Size Changer" was working a long time ago, but now it is not available for the new version, which solved the large font problem not fit on screen when displaying multiple columns.

One of the best addons I have used.
A shame development stopped for the new TB versions.

It was one of the main reasons, together with the unified mailbox I was using TB.

Thanks for the great addon, it was fun while it lasted.

It was an excellent plugin. Mozilla made it very hard to keep track with all the API changes in the last year.
But for a now not working Plugin, I've to rate a very low.
Really sad. It seams Mozilla is going in to the wrong direction in so may ways.

As announced on the Account Colors home page some time ago, there will be no more development or updates for Account Colors.

A great extension. A must for user using multiple accounts.
Thunderbird's developers are probably using Outlook, so they want to "adjust" TB this way...
I understand DW to stop further development. But it's pity.
So maybe next time!

My TB just updated to v78 and broke loads of useful addons just as it did for v68 - that was bad enough but this latest version is much worse as I see addon developers just completely giving up after years of dedication.

I am so sad to see this addon go - I understand why the author can't carry on, it's heartbreaking!

I wish the Thunderbird developers would stop fiddling and completely breaking things - we keep going backwards when addons like this go - TB will never be the same for me and it makes me want to just give up my long history of using TB - sometimes I hate progress when all it does is trash what is good. I will look at how I can revert to TB 68 because I see no point in being with TB if I can't use addons like Account Colors.

Very sad to see this go, one of the best add-ons I ever used and now thinking time to move to another mail client.

Thanks for providing a great add on which did exactly what I wanted.
Unfortunately Mozilla seem intent on driving away customers by removing access to add ons which made both Thunderbird and Firefox customizable.

Liked this extension, but with Thunderbird v78.x I can't locate any of the options to use it, even though this extension is showing as compatible. Confusing.... No point in listing an extension as compatible if it no longer works, surely?
