Current releases can be found on the homepage. Version 1.7pre is compatible with Thunderbird 16.
Btw the check mark in the View|Layout menu is still inverted. It should be checked when the sidebar is visible, not when it's hidden.

@christian1502 Komisch, ich kann das mit dem Standardicon nicht. Egal wo ich es hinziehe, es erscheint immer _neben_ dem Adressfeld, nicht darin. Außerdem ist das Standardicon immer da. Wenn die Seite keinen Feed bereitstellt, ist es ausgegraut, nimmt aber trotzdem Platz weg und hat keine Funktion. Mit "RSS Icon" erscheint das Icon _im_ Adressfeld, und nur dann, wenn es einen Feed gibt.
Leider wird nicht angezeigt, ob ich den Feed schon abonniert habe, und der Name ist falsch. Es müsste "Feed Icon" heißen. RSS ist nur _ein_ Feed-Format, der Standard ist Atom. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_feed#Confusion_between_Web_feed_and_RSS

Go to the extension homepage to get a current "pre-release" version! The version here is 5 years old. The latest version on the homepage is v1.5pre from April 2012.

no response from notaries... even http://www.networknotary.org/ is down. Wasn't the idea to build a network of notaries that is more reliable than any single https site?

Looks better than EPubReader, and I also appreciate that it doesn't force the library function on me. Check out the manual in Tools|Lucifox!

This addon is absolutely necessary due to Firefox's extremely annoying master password UI. Every time I start Firefox, Sync steals focus and fires a modal master password prompt without even telling why, and this is by design! Master Password+ gets rid of them. Not 5 stars because it doesn't work well with Secure Login (need to reload page) and because the "Lock" hotkeys cannot be disabled.

It doesn't say so in the description, but this initiates a Google web search in a Thunderbird tab. (I think I saw a search engine dropdown but it disappeared after a split second.) Thunderbird isn't a web browser. If you want the kitchen sink, get Seamonkey.

Great. Now we have to use addons to get everything back they're throwing out in the great browser race to zero UI.
Suggestions: There should be some indication when a site has a feed I've already subscribed to, akin to what the star does for "dead bookmarks". And don't exclude <a> and <area>, the HTML5 spec says they should also be used for autodiscovery.

Nice idea. But it ignores timezone info in external calendars - all times are off.
Is this abandoned?

I didn't get a Mailing Lists folder or any other UI. And I'm having strange l10n issues now - folders are renamed to English when I click on them.

Events from external calendars (ICS) appear shifted. The addon seems to interpret times without a timezone as being UTC. Lightning interprets them as being in the local timezone.

I'm so happy that this extension was revived. One small issue: The menu item is inverted, it is checked when the sidebar is invisible and unchecked when visible.

Thunderbird has something similar now, but yours is nicer. 5+ stars if you add a function to drag messages into and out of a thread. (Threads are often incorrect because people don't reply properly.) Outlook has had that forever, it's the only thing I miss in Thunderbird.

It recognizes birthdays imported with FinchSync! I hope this is mainstreamed into Tb/Lightning soon, it's standard PIM functionality.

It remembers source/target language but doesn't show the active languages in the context menu. Default source language for a page should be "autodetect" or inferred from lang attributes. The bubble should disappear not only when I click on it, but also when I click somewhere else on the page, or at least when I open another translate bubble (currently this leaves minibubbles all over the place).

In Windows you can just add a link to Thunderbird to the Startup folder and check "Minimized", so I don't see the use of this addon
