This is an extremely useful tools. It helped me transfer about a dozen email accounts several times across computers with literally a few clicks.

@floppy things: Thanks for answering, but what do you mean? What profile? I don't see anything regarding profiles.

Worked like a charm for me. It looks like the 1 star raters need to learn a bit of patience before passing their nerves on a review...

That's a great extension. I needed to export thousands of emails to PDF in a short period of time and the work was great. It saved me tedious work hours.

FFoxuser, dude you got to click the profile first, where you want to import to... after this, the options to import, that were grayed out first, are not grayed out anymore ;) GREAT extension, works like a charm, I just imported hundrets of email in eml format from WinMail with subdirectories in a minute.

It works nicely, except when i export email .eml files, i dont see an option to have either the email address or account name as a prefix at the beginning of the exported folders/files. - Can you add an option to do this so i can see what emails are from which email accounts ?

Works great. But the import-commands are a litte bit confusing. Exporting directories with subdirectories creates .sbd files. If you wish to import mail from such files, you need to choose "import mbox files". If you know that .sbd is a subtype of mbox files, then that might be clear to you (it wasn't to me, and instead I've tried all other import options. I think it would be a good idea to rename the command to "import mbox/sbd files" to help dummies like myself).

Although it is a usefull tool, the new version uses a new file naming convention which makes it useless for me. It now uses the sender/recepient in the filename instead of the subject. So when archiving email I get large lists of PDF files with filenames that make no sense other than that it is an incoming or outgoing email from or to a particular party. Is there any way to get the old functionality back ???? (yes I read the re re re comment; most business mail is different though)

Great and useful tool to save Mails, but works with TB 52.9.1 only. This is the reason why I still use a TB portable version, too. Hope you can fix it for TB 60.+! I keep my fingers crossed.

So so useful! I keep a lot of email and I keep it organized in folders. Looking to migrate hosts and wanted to make sure my email was backed up beforehand. This let me export my many many folders very easily, in batches, as both .eml and .txt with attachments. Love it.

v3.3.1 unfortunately, the save to PDF still does not work for me. Allows me to select the folder to store the file in, but when I go there, there is nothing.

This is a pity, since it can be one of the most useful tools. The standard save as (to eml) requires a lot of work for each save, since it defaults to subject. #1 subjects can be meaningless. especially as they are sorted by re: re: re: etc. #2 the save date is the current date and not the email date.

Are you using prefix in filenames? Anyway try 3.3.2 version, available now in my website, it should work.

Great tool! But when I used it on the latest version of TB recently it didn't bring the subfolders in with the rest of the structure. Has it been fully tested yet?

I absolutely love this plugin, but it is now broken after Thunderbird 60 update. Hopefully the developer can fix it and then it would go back to 5 stars!

Save as PDF option does nothing after the latest update. Other formats work fine

Only need it for converting individual messages to PDF, and that, in the Dutch version at least, just does nothing. You get the two standard PDF warnings, but no save dialog (like in the other save to actions).
