I had about 39,000 email with thousands of duplicates it seemed. At first this addon removed a few then didn't find any although I could find them. I changed the settings which are found in the Tools, Add-ons page, click on the wrench icon to access settings. I removed the size comparison (I think the developer recommended this) and added the recipients comparison. It found 18,000 duplicates. I think it's still moving them to trash! After tweaking settings I am pleased and recommend the developer look into whether not enabling the the size comparison as a default will yield better results.

Remember I must err on the side of caution when it comes to duplicates; it's better that I fail to find them than I find messages which I'm not certain the user would want deleted. So - I don't believe I can't safely relax the criteria.
