Very nice add-on. The added complexity as compared to "Equations" is more than compensated for by the ability to use standard LaTeX in a very general way.

One issue I'm having is alignment. The alignment quality of in-line equations is seemingly random, although it seems to be biased toward being too low (below the text line). Frequently, it is rather poor. It is difficult to fix even if I want to spend the time trying to adjust the image placement manually (which I don't!).

Do you have any tips on how to maximize the alignment quality?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5).

Well no, I don't have any tip. The thing is that the process crops everything around the formula once LaTeX has been run, so there is no way for me to know where the baseline is. Maybe I should use some "trick" involving rectangles drawn around the formula, but for now, I don't have any idea.

But please, contact me by email as you're probably never going to read this reply.
