owl support was dissatisfying for me.

access to shared mailbox suddenly stopped working, i'm getting "The specified object was not found in the store., The store ID provided isn't an ID of an item" and asked support for help but never got a reply, not even asking after a second time

will consider cancelling my subscription

EDIT: answer to the answer below (as i cannot reply to that):

thank you. i can understand that.
but if support is on best effort basis and cannot be expected for paying customers, you should inform about that at https://www.beonex.com/owl/

"help! problem - solution - contact support" my raise false expectations. what else could i do if something stops working i need ?

Furthermore, if shared mailboxes is an experimental/unsupported feature, you should also please denote that appropriatly somewhere not too hard to find.

this feature was the reason why i bought your plugin, and i wouldn't have done that if i knew it's "free extra" or "beta" feature without support.

the mailbox is shared with me, as i can access it in new outlook desktop client and in outlook web. i checked in exchange admin center and my user account is added there for delegated access.

oh, and not forget to mention - i can access the headlines of the messages from the shared accounts. but not open the body. so this can't be a "mailbox is not longer shared with me" problem

You pay for what the addon description here on this page and our website says. Anything else is a free extra.

Support is *not* included in the price. This would be impossible for 10 Eur per year. We offer support only on an best-effort basis.

The error that you see comes from your server. The error message suggests that the mailbox may no longer be shared with you, that's may be why access to the emails fails. There may be other reasons, but we cannot know. This is all we are getting from your server, so we merely pass this on to you what your server says.

I had a problem after TB security update 128.9.2 : it was not possible to read attachments. I posted a claim and in less than 24 hours OWL support solved the issue. So thanks and 5 star rating !

Outlook 365 attachments cannot be downloaded anymore:-(

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.7).

It seems to be broken by a Thunderbird security update 128.9.2 and 137.0.2. We're looking into fixing it.

UPDATE: We have a fix. It's currently in TB addon review, but you can already manually download it from https://www.beonex.com/owl/owl.xpi (Firefox thinks it's a FF addon, but it's obviously not) and install it in TB | Addons | Wheel button | Install addon from file...

The basic functionality is excellent, but there is one issue: it is not possible to optimize email folders by deleting emails (there are no items for optimize), which causes local email files to become bloated in my case.

Is this a feature of this plugin?
The plugin cannot reduce the size of received files placed locally.

After Thunderbird updated to 137, OWL was updated immediately. Very nice! Probably one of the most helpful and up to date pieces of software I rely upon daily. Great support!

It used to work pretty well, but since I migrated from TB 128 ESR to TB 136 release, I've found two very annoying bugs:
- It doesn't work if you have Unified Folders, because the Inbox is not shown in the unified Inbox folder.
- The Filters doesn't apply automatically, you have to apply it manually every time.
Authors of the addon aren't responding to emails.

This addon is very good, and I have been using it for several years. The icing on the cake is that there is a top-notch, highly responsive team behind it! The version 1.3.6 is good

After trying to fight to setup O365 for a couple of days I decided to try Owl.
I can say is worth every penny. Very straightforward setup and it even adds a tab with Teams. I can finally see all my folders, which I couldn't with IMAP.

If you use O365 on a daily basis, it is definitely worth the asking price.

Thanks for your kind words! This is very encouraging for us.

This is a great addon.
It would be even better if I was able to hide folders from the account that I do not want to see. Just like the SubScribe/Unsubscribe functionality in an IMAP account.
For example I would like yo hide the Archive for day to day use.

Thank you for this great extension.
Are you planning to support the Thunderbird RELEASE channel ? The extension is stuck to version 128 (ESR) at the moment.

Owl works globally well, but I have a question regarding one of my Exchange accounts installed on Thunderbird and running with Owl:
Is there a way, in Thunderbird, to add to one of my two Exchange accounts a shared mail box linked to that account? Thanks for your answer

This add-on is amazing it just works.

Note: I something sees some errors reply to calendar invites,
but that is the only problem I have ever experienced and
honestly I am not convinced that it is not the exchange server there is the problem.

Brilliant add on. Works reliably.
I am using it mainly to access my work outlook calendar in thunderbird.
If any issues crop up (usually due to changes in Thunderbird) these get fixed really quick.

Sorry, but manually moving app data folders on disk is not something we can support.

If you want a backup, you can run a copy script and copy the files where you want them.

Hi Raymond, could you please report bugs to [email protected] ? The reviews here are not intended for bug reports, and they don't give us enough information to investigate and fix the bugs. We would like to fix the bugs.

If you could please write all technical detail information to our support? They have instructions to forward those bug reports to the development team, particularly after an update like this one.

For this particular issue:
1. Do the folders stay expanded after you collapse them, or do they expand only once?
2. Which folders are still showing up, and which folders are now missing which showed up before?
3. Can you please include the console output (TB menu | Dev | Error console)?

UPDATE: Owl version 1.3.1 fixes the issue. We're waiting for Thunderbird staff to publish the new version.
Meanwhile, you can find it at https://www.beonex.com/owl/owl.xpi
