I really liked the previous version with out the black glass look. Both are good but I would have released it as a new Thunderbird Theme instead of an update. I am not to thrilled with dark themes but that is only my opinion and I am sticking to it.

I don't like it too black the other one was great or how about a light blue.

I used black Vista Theme on My WindowsXP Desktop.
It's very cool skin for Thunderbird. It's good matched for my PC.
I recommended this one for everyone.

I really loved the old version but can't stand the new black one. Please give us an option to switch colors or bring back the other one. Thanks!
