Work only for Thunderbird 60.0 and older. Currently, there are no plans to update this for newer versions.
The buttons in (any) toolbar customization dialog are sorted by the button names and optionally grouped by addons (starting with version 0.0.5). Also a search box was added to the dialog, so buttons can be filted by their names.
New buttons are marked by a red background (if buttons are grouped by addon) the first time the customization dialog is opened.
