This is an incredible RSS reader. Its simple, its not intrusive, it does not take over your environment and it works.
The nice things about this viewer:
(a) Automatic refresh is configurable,
(b) I can force it to check the feed,
(c) it pops up a small window in the bottom right hand corner indicating that there are new articles,
(d) it consolidates all new articles into a single list,
(e) it allows you to organise and group your feeds,
(f) it has a typical news reader view/pane layout.
My future recommendations are for it to
(1) allow individual refresh periods per feed,
(2) allow a select all (ctrl-a) within the article list,
(3) allow some sort of button somewhere where I can easily open the feed viewer,
(4) store its feed configuration in a normal bookmarks folder so that I can have it automatically synchonise and distribute via Foxmarks.
I typically use Opera for RSS feeds and Firefox for everything else. I am now able to switch completely to Firefox.

(1) and (2, context menu) are in version 0.8.3, beta available at http://newsfox.mozdev.org/installation.html later today.
(4) won't happen. You can put your newsfox folder on a flash drive, or perhaps synchronize with one of the online storage sites(haven't tried any and not going to plug any in particular, do a search).

This is simply the best RSS rader for Firefox.
It offers email like RSS readind with features like : feed classification, feed delete, feed preview and full view, etc ...
Don't look elsewhere, NewsFox rocks !

Very clean reader, love the way it looks (perfect for at work, where u dont want to look like yr browsing all the time), love the way it auto grabbed live feeds while others didnt, and love the way it doesnt store all the items under bookmarks.
Any chance of this skin for gmail too ??

Opens in a separate tab, making the font large enough and comfortable to read and very user-friendly.

I finally found exactly what I wanted on a RSS News reader.
And best of all: Don't need to pay for it, or to open another software for it... it's already integrated with my browser, which just makes it better!
Only thing bothering me now, and this is probably something that won't be hard to fix, is the problem with the feed list always going to the top while I'm reading older news, or when I delete something.
Is it possible? It's not a major problem, but it's really annoying when you have like 100+ news to check... I read one, delete, then the list goes to the top. Then I have to look all over again where I was reading, delete, list goes to top, look for the position again... you get the point. :D
