If you are using an older version of Thunderbird before update 115 and it does not work, try v1.3 of the theme available at https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/gruvbox-dark-thunderbird/versions/
Due to the changes in update v128, there are elements not themed correctly. These are being worked on and will be fixed in v1.9.
v1.8 can be installed on Thunderbird versions up to 130 but it is not guaranteed to work.
