This theme is the main reason that I use Seamonkey, so hard to resist using the workaround. Is it a big job to port it to the newer versions? I'm a non programmer and just wanted an idea of how big a job it is.

Just so you know for recent Seamonkey users (at least up to 2.4.1): install orbit3+1, go in your local folder and edit install.rdf (plain text file). Change the "maxVersion" to something higher than 2.4.1. Restart Seamonkey and select the Orbit skin. Work flawless for me!
If anyone want to repackage it with this small change, that would be nice!
Please don't. Orbit is actually not compatible with recent SM versions. The Add-ons Manager and Bookmarks Manager are just two examples that are badly broken with it. A compatibility bump alone doesn't fix that.

For me, this skin is synonymous of Seamonkey. For the desperate like me (waiting to update) can use the plugin "Add-on Compatibility Reporter" to be compatible with 2.2 (even several plugins). Works OK everything except admin addons. Recommend administering with the default theme (View/Theme) and once everything OK navigate Orbit ;-)

I've been using this theme for so long, and Seamonkey so often, that it's burnt into my display. (I won't replace a working CRT). Quite frankly I love it. It is, in my opinion, THE premier Seamonkey theme. Nothing else can compare. I'm just a little concerned that an update for 2.1 hasn't been released yet. I've never considered trying to author my own theme before but if it isn't updated soon I might give it a try.

I am a clumsy sort. I like big buttons with bright colors. I'm not sure old = obsolete. Plus, I like yellow a lot because the sun is yellow, and the sun is pretty important where I live.

For those of us who helped create the Internet, Seamonkey, Open Source software, etc. who gave our all, our EYES, to the effort in thousands of late night hours this is one of the easiest to read, best laid out, and best thought out themes ever. In over ten years of using it there have only been a handful of new themes to match Orbit's intuitive simplicity and minimalistic good looks. Kudos to the writers, and mainly to the folks who are now keeping it current and working right. Your efforts are really appreciated!

I love this Theme and use it over years. There is a working Version for SeaMonkey 2.0.x at the Homepage.

I can't believe this antique is still on this page! The original author couldn't even keep it updated for V 1 Seamonkey.

Help!? Everytime I want to install something from Mozilla, like this add-on... after downing its says "install script not found"
Do I have to do something in addition .. or first?

I don't CARE if it's as old as dirt. I still like this theme. Simple, uncluttered, colorful. For those of you who can't install, get the themer.xpi add-on from mozdev.org, and use that to install it. No problems.

Installed on SeaMonkey 1.1.11, lost the navigation bar. It's checked but not visible. Too bad, looks nice otherwise.
Also, fix the installer!

This theme is as old as dirt. This needs to be removed as it is older than my computer. It's as useful as a venereal disease.

Unusable... after downloading, I receive a message: "Install script not found."
