It's not working!!! There is no connection parameters to set. It shows that connection :4190 only. And my FW didn't see any try to connect to any destination on this port. I can't change any connection parameter

In version 102.11.0 (64-bit) Do not work. Can open edit setings menu, can connect to server.

I tried to follow the advice of 90c846, but Thunderbird wouldn't install a 'corrupted' file! Instead, I've installed an older version of Thunderbird, which is fine, as I just want access to my sieve settings without manually going into my remote server and editing the file!
Only 4 stars, as the extension really should be keeping up with versions of Thunderbird!

value for strict_max_version of extension's manifest.json is not set properly (set to 102.0)
works fine for me with some edits:
1. download sieve-0.6.1-tb.xpi manually
2. unzip the file to different directory
3. change value to "102.*"
4. zip again and manually install
for linux users:
cd <into directory with downloaded file>
mkdir sieve-0.6.1-tb; cd sieve-0.6.1-tb; unzip ../sieve-0.6.1-tb.xpi
sed -i 's!"strict_max_version" : "102.0"!"strict_max_version" : "102.*"!g' manifest.json
zip -r ../sieve-0.6.1-tb_edited.xpi ./
Manually installation from file via thunderbird addons tab.

Unfortunately, contrary to the statement on the plugin page, the plugin no longer works for 102.4.*.

Seems to have slightly broken in 102.* again. Would really be nice if the Thunderbird developers stabilized their addon interfaces or made a more clean cut to a new system rather than this death of addons by a thousand cuts syndrome.

It is a really useful add-on and has helped me a lot in fighting off spam. I really appreciate the author's hard work. By the way, in Thunderbird 91.10.0 for Mac, the "Sieve Message Filter" has disappeared from the "Tools" menu, and I can no longer manage the filter. Sieve is still on in the list of add-ons, but it has disappeared from the menu above. I would be very grateful if you could fix this.
[Updates] I downloaded and installed the latest WebExtensions from the Nightly Build and Sieve is back in "Tools"! Thank you!

Hi! It doesn't work anymore in 91.3.0. Is there is a chance plugin will be fixed?

Yes, this app does not work anymore since Thunderbird 60.xx. The last working version was 0.3.1, after which the author started working on a standalone project that doesn't seem to work with CRAM-MD5 dovecot and other encrypted authentications. Until Sieve will work with Thunderbird again, we will grow claws :)) ( claws-mail.org)

Excellent addon. Very appreciated. It's a shame, that most do not even know about sieve. If they knew - this would be *the* addon for them.

Works nicely. Makes updating sieve rules fairly easy. It's updated for TB 78

Several years ago Mozilla made a strange decision. They dropped their very flexible addon system and copied the extremely limited WebExtensions from Google Chrome. An this ultimately meant for Thunderbird that "classic" addons will go way.
Now in 2020 classic Thunderbird addons are dead. Which meant for the addon it needed to evolve and drop its Thunderbird dependencies. It is now a portable standalone application!
