À gauche, le nom de chaque filtre cliquable, avec une zone qui contient toutes les occurrences de recherche ;
This sounds like a support request -
I don't understand the full context , maybe you can add a feature request at github. As regards importing / exporting, why don't use the backup / restore options that quickFilters adds to the message filters list? Backup your filters on the old profile then restore them on the new one.

[UPDATE]
Ver. 5.8.1 fix issue. Everything works properly.
I confirm, the latest plugin update (5.8) disables the shortcut that selects all messages (Ctrl+a). The shortcut works in the message body, but you cannot select all messages in the message list of a folder.
The issue is fixed as of today (v5.8.1)

Please use Github or the in-Add-on support tab if you find any new errors, Thanks in advance!

Vielen Dank!

Seems to work well now
Deze beoordeling betreft een eerdere versie van de add-on (5.6).thanks, still working on some improvements for Thunderbird 102. Filtering itself is a bit patchy in Thunderbird at the moment, hopefully they will fix some stuff in the platform itself.

Outstanding extension!
This extension add so much power and confort into my work process that it has become essential.
Here i use it to manage +/- 150 filters that often need to be modified, it works perfectly.
Thanks to the develloper for being so reactive when asked for help.
I bought the license and it worth it

Please add ability to run filter as I can do it in Outlook: to see the list of a last 6 filters (quick actions) on the panel.
Deze beoordeling betreft een eerdere versie van de add-on (5.5.4).could you contact me on the support tab in quickFIlters settings to explain this in detail please? The review board isn't really the correct place for feature requests. The official place for bugs+features is the quickFilters qithub:

Hands down, the absolute best filtering tool for sorting, flagging, and organizing incoming mail; plus+ so much more.

This extension is the main reason I use Thunderbird. I can easily categorize emails based on specific criteria and later combine the labels to decide what actions to take. An extremely useful extension. The pro version is well worth it, if not only to support its continued development.

I need to access the company Exchange from Windows occasionally (using ExQuilla).
FilterQuilla simply offers the standard set of filter mechanims (e.g. regex on headers) you'll never find in a misdesigned nightmare such as Outlook.

I really like Quickfilters in Thunderbird. It helps me keep my inbox down. I use it to create filters for maillists and correspondents I want to put in their own folder. I also use it to send emails from senders I don't want to see-- to the trash. It instantly creates a filter with that sender's name. After a couple of weeks of this my spam is way down. (I also use an external anti-spam service, but they don't catch it all).

The filter export/import is exactly the functionality I was looking for and this extension does it flawlessly, even between Windows and Mac.

The biggest problem I see that this is a memory hog application.
Turning it on cause me to have to increase my swap space and with only 8 GB of memory has other problems too. The filter window expands so large I have to keep shrinking it to find the ok button at the bottom. I have very large list and likely need to trimmed down. Just wish the windows sizeing of the filter window would fit the screen and not have to keep scrollimg it. Another thing the fact that it memory hog and having such a smaller memory capacity these applicaiton needs to consider that. I see too much memory taken up. TB is getting way too big.
Why don't you raise some bugs on my github? Just got to
https://github.com/RealRaven2000/quickFilters/issues
and click on [New Issue]
The long windows is actually a Thunderbird bug - it has nothing to do with quickFilters, but I may find a workaround. Also the filtering mechanism itself that is from Thundebird, so I don't feel like quickFilters should get a bad rating for that,

Ok, it's a very good add-on, supplies some needed functionality. So much so I decided to look at paying for the pro license, just to support the developer.
But then, I got to the licensing page, and saw the part where you can't buy it, only rent it for a year. Then, even though you haven't consumed any more of the developer's resources by using it on your onwn computer, you have to pay him for it again. And again the next year. And again the next year.
Sorry, that's not how it works. If I buy something from you, I'm buying it from you. You don't get to take it back every year just because you want to charge me again and again for something I already paid you for.
Write software that's worth paying for (which you definitely have), and people like me will happily pay a fair price to buy it. Once. Then, if you release a new version with better features, we'll happily pay an upgrade fee for that.
But expecting people to pay over and over again for the same thing just because you wish to make unlimited money off of them is just greedy. I won't support it. Once I've paid you for something, it's mine. I get to use it. You don't get to say how long I can use it for.
Otherwise, you don't get to have me as a customer for your product.
Please reconsider your licensing model. Best of luck to you.
thanks for your feedback. A couple of things to not:
Would it help you if it was permananet but fixed to just Thunderbird 78 as maximum version? Because I have to rewrite my Add-ons every year to future proof them. This is different from Software that is compiled to run on an operating system which is guaranteed to stay stable for 10s of years. Every year the ESR comes along and breaks a lot of things. If I sell a permanent license this i a broken promise: I walk away and do nothing and it will stop working after a year - or you are forced to stay behind on an outdated Thunderbird version.
So you are not paying me for the same thing but for the fact that I am not walking away and keep fixing and re-writing the code. Last year I had to invest 3500$ by hiring an external developer just so my Add-ons could survive - plus putting in many weeks of my own work.
Once we have converted the Add-ons to full blown web-extensions which work with the Thunderbird APIs only I will definitely sell permanent licenses but it's a long way until then. The APIs are incomplete and do not allow many things that were possible with legacy Add-ons (and are currently possible with experimental add-ons of which quickFilters had to become one.

As much as I love the add-on, the developers have allowed the app to violate a cardinal rule and allowed this app to generate a POPUP ad on my desktop. Bye Bye,
Deze beoordeling betreft een eerdere versie van de add-on (5.2).that's fine - you wouldn't have seen it with a license.
I have to finance my work somehow, and unfortunatly that's the only way to attract attention from "free as in beer" users every few months. Your choice! (Also I am only a single dev, and it's a lot of work)
Also, I did translate the most important changes into 17 languages on that screen. Not everyone can digest the English only change log. And translating 1000s of words on that site it just not an option for that price,

In quickFilters preferences, first tab "Actions" under "Merge Rules" (Règles de fusion) there is a setting "Skip to Template Step" (Passer et aller à l'étape modèl) - I guess that's what you may have activated. Btw, you can get direct help via the support (Aide) tab.

just received an e-mail tutorial, detailing all the required steps to achieve my goal. Support is excellent in my case.
Deze beoordeling betreft een eerdere versie van de add-on (5.1).It's already there, and it is called "custom templates". With these, you can design your own templates exactly the way you described - please check the "Advanced" tab to try them out.

Bonjour ,
Actually "apply filters" to a message from the context menu is a built in function from Thunderbird - it's not provided by quickFilters. The main business of qF is managing filters and easily creating new ones through an assistant that watches you while you file away mail. Also backup / restore / sorting / troubleshooting.
I would still be interested in your use case, can you please create a new issue on github?

I love this so much I still use the old Thunderbird and am not updating until this addon gets updated.
Seriously, why would anyone use Thunderbird any other way?
My elderly mother used it as well until she accidentally hit that nagging "Do you want to update Thunderbird" button
Then I gave up on her and just installed the lastest version.
I wish there was a way to disable that nagging popup.
Dear Jeff - It is updated as of December 2nd (version 5.0.2). Before you update I would advise using the backup feature to save all your filters (in the filters list, toolbar on top) for each of your accounts just in case Thunderbird gets something wrong. As regards popup can you send a screenshot to the github please?
