Dieses Addon erleichtert SeaMonkey-Nutzern die Suche nach geeigneten Addons. Es korrigiert Fehler in der Kompatibilitätsbeschreibung und verlinkt wenn nötig zum Add-On-Converter.

Still works with installation of unofficial (by wg9s) De SeaMonkey 2.53.4beta 1 pre Mozilla/5.0 (NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 Build 20200604210008 (Default Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit.
But I had to drop it, because the add-on does not respect my preference "do not switch to newly opened TAB". That is very annoying for me.
Sidebar Add Custom Tab

Still a useful tool for me. I even can watch an Etherpad in the sidebar (mostly: the Etherpad Chat), so that I see during my normal work with Browser whether a coworker has started editing.

As an alternative fix for Bug 1293307 - Users should be able to add custom pages to sidebar we now have this add-on. Some first tests with official German SeaMonkey 2.46 FINAL (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 Build 20161213183751 (Default Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit look very promising.
The add-on is easy to use and works perfect. The only small problem I see: often WINDOWS looses focus to SM in the moment when new Sidebar Panel becomes added.
I will write a more detailed review in the unofficial SeaMonkey blogs within few days after some more testing.

Unfortunately information on add-on download page is very outdated. An additional flaw is that in add-ons manager under [More] you will find a link to no longer existing(?) domain "teesoft.info", if you click it you might be forwarded to really suspicious websites. May be this is meant by the Virus warnings in some other reviews? Panda Antivirus rates the add-on itself as virus free.
The add-on itself is useful, and a [Converted] version works fine with my unofficial (akalla) English SeaMonkey 2.46 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 Build 20160923004119 (Default Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit.

SeaMonkey 2.40 has a later version bundled, what still has "<em:version>1.0pre</em:version>" in it, what is worrying, because the contents of the later version is rather different to the contents of this one. I doubt that the version of this extension which is hosted on AMO still can be useful for SeaMonkey users.

Core function works fine.
List of available user agents is difficult to find.
May be shipped user agents need an update? I can't imagine for what IE6 might be useful.

Works fine, and the "mozillazine"-workaround heals the problemwith the "eaten" Disposition-Notification (see http://blog.kamens.us/send-later#caveats). The other workaround does not work for me, neither with SM 2.39 nor with TB 46.0a1 (2015-12-30)

Installation worked fine, without any warning
Function works fine, I tested with a Wikipedia text from <https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portugal> in HTML Composer, Browser, Chatzilla and E-Mail-Composer, everything looks fine in some formal tests (I do not speak that language).
And support is really great!

To be honest, I only did a very short test for this addon with EN-US SeaMonkey 2.33.1 (German Language pack) Gecko/20100101 Build 20150321194901 (Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit (with a test profile) during my reviews for <https://wiki.mozilla.org/SeaMonkey/AddonCompat#2.33_.28and_later.29>. Result: Always Error Message "Can not find IE". All with this add-on is suspicious:
a) Developer mentioned on page is EmmaSawyers, but developer has changed
b) In install.rdf Creator homepage is http://ieview.roub.net (again a different name) tells about the change
c) Homepage linked in AMO http://ppclick.com/ only shows a "coming soon". Page is from

d) Support page: see (c)
e) In add-on-settings I found "Use 'WizeShoppy'" checkmark without any explication. Seems to be addware with
bad WOT rating. Well, it's unchecked by default, but ...
f) all on AMO site is suspicious:
f1) Works with "Firefox 3.6 - 26.*" - that is rather outdated
f2) Timestamp "March 12, 2013" - that is rather outdated
And this add-on is really "signed"?

Youtube MP3 Podcaster 3.7.0 with EN-US SeaMonkey 2.33.1 (German Language pack) Gecko/20100101 Build 20150321194901 (Default Theme) on German WIN7 64bit works, but there are 2 annoying bugs what made my finally drop this add-on:
1) If I hear a play list all later download files will have the name of the very first title in the list
2) Rather often my download files get a time / date in December 2009. If I want to collect latest downloads
that is not very useful :-(
So I switched back to a different add-on for this task.

But: Screenshots here do not match with my experience, should be updated so that everybody can know that the Youtube MP3 Podcaster Icon needs to be clicked to bring up a dialog with lots of download options.
Bitrage 256 kBit/s seems to be default and creates rather big .mp3 files, I will check whether quality really is better. For a cell phone cam movie like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLsVKSjkziY that is some kind of overkill.
The add-on does the mp3 conversion after having done the download for the complete movie, what causes rather big downloads (70MB for a 4 minutes music movie), what might be a problem with slow internet connection.

Works fine with EN-US Seamonkey 2.33.1 (German Language pack) Gecko/20100101 Build 20150321194901 (Default Theme) on German WIN7 64bit. But to me the handling needs getting used to:
a) "Remove" Button always missing in add-ons-list
b) Checkbox "AMO integration" needs explication, I haven`t a clue what that might be for.
c) Checkbox "open in TAB" needs explication. Explication tells that "Add-ons Manager opens in its own window", but for me the default setting was "open in TAB",
what means that an additional TAB will be opened in Browser Window for add-ons-manager. Additional I think that without checkmark here the Add-on-manager
will not open in a new Window (what would be the same like a window with menu 'File -> New -> Browser Window'), but in a separate "dialog" (I am not sure whether that is an official name).

z) you are right, the missing "Remove" button is mentioned in add-on explication. But I do no t think that that is useful in a TAB ofa 1920x1080 screen

Unfortunately install.rdf limits SeaMonkey compatibility to "maxVersion>2.17.*", so that users might expect that FireFTP will not work with latest SeaMoney Versions. It would be great if someone could patch that. And may be amend short description from "... client for Mozilla Firefox which ..." to "... client for Mozilla Firefox and SeaMonkey which ..."

I only did 2 tests:

Goal was to get the "SeaMonkea deutsch" Sidebar <bdo style="background-color: rgb(224, 144, 255);" id="sthz50-3" class="prxsthM42">from</bdo>

working in <bdo style="background-color: rgb(255, 120, 124);" id="sthz48-6" class="prxsthM42">SeaMonkey</bdo>, that worked fine.
2. Short test with Firefox 36.0.1, also to test whether contents will be shown, also worked fine.
My suggestion to extend SeaMonkey valid target range has been implemented in AMO, but not in "install.rdf"
