I think my troubles might be related to the VCF as output by Android contacts.

Thundersync did half of what I wanted it to do. Maybe it doesn't actually sync, but only imports/exports.

I was able to output a VCF format. I was able to import that VCF file into my Android contacts.

I was unable to sync changes from contacts in my phone back into Thunderbird.

Additionally, while in the sync listing, only my contacts with first names A through J are shown. I thought perhaps the last contact in the list was poorly formatted for some reason, so I deleted it. No help. The list is still only A-J. Is there a limit to the number of contacts Thundersync can handle?

While looking at the list of contacts to sync, it's kind of a mystery what's supposed to happen next. I can click Compare (should already be done, right), Synchronize is greyed out despite the fact that I know there are unsynched changes, or close. I can see by my file modified time that Thundersync has not updated the storage VCF file. This is in spite of the fact that I modified contacts for the purpose of testing how thundersync works.

After a couple hours of messing with Thundersync I've concluded that either it doesn't do what I had hoped, or that I can't understand how to make it function.

Running TB 38.4.0 so Thundersync should be compatible.

Thank you for helping me get my Thunderbird contacts into my phone. For that I am grateful. Two way synch doesn't seem to work.
