À propos de ce module
main code has not changed, just tweaked accepted thunderbird versions
tested on windows vista/7
Version 2.0.0 beta with TB3 support available:
Thanks to Paolo aka "Kaosmos" (https://nic-nac-project.org/~kaosmos/morecols-en.html) who did find some of the needed tweaks to enable this addon for TB3 and sending those to me, I could upload this update. I crosschecked every change made, and added some tweaks myself, but this version is unfortunately still far from completely supporting TB3. Please see the version notes for what is not working.
!!!!!!You have to download this addon version here: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/thunderbird/addons/versions/9995#version-2.0.0
Also thanks goes to Damien Degois who did provide me with an french translation for this addon.

Boost thunderbirds address auto completion
or
Automatically create mail lists
You can select any of your e-mail folders, and specify any of your address books as a target. "EMail Address Crawler" will then search that folder and its sub folders for e-mail addresses and will add them to your address book.
NEW SINCE 1.7.0: You can also specifie to send a new email via CC or BCC instead of filling an address book. This way you can quickly send an email to all reciepients sorted to a folder - like friends or project participants, etc.
You can specify if "EMail Address Crawler" should search in the TO, FROM or CC field. And how often he needs to find an address before he adds it.
If there are several different formats, he will choose the one most complete:
"Full Name [email protected]" is preferred over
"Name [email protected]" which is preferred over
[email protected]
Find e-mail addresses of long forgotten friends or easily create mailing lists for large groups.
