Go Parent Folder

I have used this extension for a very long time. Mainly with very early versions of firefox and more recently with Palemoon.
I installed it and show profile extension with Firefox 50.1 and I can not view the bookmarks in the Bookmark manager. It shows some but any sub folders do not display any bookmarks and only shows the sub folder names without displaying any bookmarks contained in the sub folder.
It does seem to go to the folder but it's not much use when it stops the bookmarks working properly.
It's a pity because it was a useful extension when it worked.
[EDIT] Strangely, I disabled the show parent folder extension and restarted Firefox. Then the bookmarks which were not visible became visible and things worked as they should. I re-enabled the extension again and restarted Firefox and now everything is working. Go parent folder and show parent folder do need to be used together so both need to work. I did try restarting Firefox before disabling the extensions and that did not fix anything. I will keep an eye on it to see if there are any further problems.

I have been experiencing issues with the extension for a long time. It sometimes states that the dates are overlapping when they are not.
ReminderFox Alert:

Check the Reminder Date Span (Start to End Date) with the selected 'Repeat' selection.

I was attempting to edit a previous reminder to change the day/date, moving it back a day to the day before. Set for an advanced date. ReminderFox does not seem to like it.
Other than this it is excellent.

I've missed for a long time being able to export a list of extension names so that I know what I had installed. I used to use MR Tech Toolkit which enabled even more options that this extension provides but was quite a lot larger. For a more minimalist extension it does the job well.

How about putting the shortcut key on the options screen as a reminder. Putting it near the bottom of the options tab would be a useful place for it. ;) I keep forgetting the keys and keep having to search for them.Otherwise it's an excellent extension.

It does work like the pictures suggest. You can even watch a video to see how it works. Click the toolbar icon and the available emoticons will show in a sidebar where you can double click them to insert into the text area.
Or type the assigned shortcut into the text area and press the convert key (Ctrl+Shift+F) to replace the shortcut with the image.
It works perfectly and it's an excellent extension.

Please add the key shortcuts to this webpage so it can easily be seen. I keep forgetting the key and finding it is difficult.
Ideally it would be clearly visible.

This is an extension that I have wanted for a very long time. I did mention a similar idea to the producer of SmileyXtra as that went totally crap after he changed it so he wouldn't need to keep updating the smiley database, but nothing ever happened.
Now this is exactly what I wanted, even includes the essential ability to save the smileys/emoticons.
There is one problem I have experienced and that is the short cut key doesn't seem to work. Ctrl+Alt+E or Ctrl+Alt+A does nothing but show a character, it doesn't convert the text to emoticons like the instructions suggest. Not a total deal breaker but for speed, not having to reach for the mouse would of been good.

Be aware everyone - it does not work with Titlebar tweaker! Mr Techs Toolkit works fine however to use multiple Firefox browsers with different password sets in Keepass :)
Using these with Proxomitron and JDList gives me the time/date of page load in titlebar and website which is perfect for forum use.

It is for spell checking text boxes/web forms etc. After installing any incorrectly entered text in text boxes and web forms are underlined and if the word is highlight and right clicked a menu shows with suggested corrections.
There is a spellbound extension which improves spellchecking and makes it more like older versions of FF as they used spellbound too.

It's 0.0.8 that I use, from the homesite. Changing the maxversion in the install.rdf seems to work, or using Mr tech toolkit will do it.

I have used this extension for a very long time as I find it so useful. I would disagree that Firefox 3+ has the same functionality as it does not. Resize search box can allow the search box to be resized from the right edge which Firefox 3+ does not allow. I have an ontop windo located where the default search box is located so it covers the search box. I also like buttons located after the search box so they are visible and resize search box does all of this for me.
It is possible to modify userchrome to change the search box size but that is not dynamic like this extension provides.
I have changed the install.rdf and it does seem to work on Firefox 3 & 3.5 but I don't know whether it causes any problems.
An simple but excellent extension a real must have for me.

With regard to Psilax's comment, no the version available for Download at my post date isn't for Firefox 3.0.11, the max version is for Firefox 2.0b2, so this is for Firefox version 1 & Firefox 2 betas only! Someone must be putting up old versions because no one bothered to change the version number. I am sure there was a version for download which worked for Firefox 2 & 3 before.
I have had to change the maxversions to 3.6 for all products so it will install until someone at Mozilla fixes the download.

Why is this extension now using AccuWeather?
I am sure this extension was using Weather.com when I last used it. The weather information it used was different to the regular forecastfox.
That's the worst thing about this now.

Annoyingly it deselects the text after doing a text transform and even more annoyingly it requires two text transforms to do basic capitalize first letters and other simple transforms. But it might please all Leet minds.
