Its just the Thunderbird logo, and that's all. Nothing really spectacular or esthetic about it, and just gives a tad of a break from otherwise a boring flat interface.

Suggest that themes are updated and made compatible for the current and future versions of so some color and texture can be added, thus giving some actual customization to the interface.
