I downloaded this and tested it using Firefox 52.0.2 (64-bit) for Linux-based operating systems, however no what I did, I could not get this extension to work.
At this time, I must rate this extension just one star, because until this issue is addressed, it (the extension) is effectively useless.

Firefox 49.0.1 windows. Does not work. Also preview in settings dialog do'nt show splash screen.

Very good, but it doesn't start immediately for me :(
My PC is very slow, and I thought at least a splash screen would show up immediately when I start firefox, but it still needs 2-3 seconds.. Is there any solution to this?

i just upgraded to thunderbird 3.11
and it no longer work :'( :'(

Occasional stability hiccup but otherwise an awesome add on! Seriously makes me wish Firefox had a native splash screen...
this also needs to be updated for Firefox 4!! ;)

yes it is cool buddy... but try to make it more attractive... u can do much better.
create some more different splash images.
and make it also more stable. sometimes it crashes.
but till now nice job.

This is invaluable to me because whenever my mom gets on the computer, she double clicks on Firefox and if it doesn't come up immediately, she'll sit there and click on it again and again and again until it finally pops up, which results in about 30 Firefox windows opened up. This will help her know that it's loading and she might not inadvertently open up so many Firefox windows! Thank you for this add-on!
