Highlighter

I'm new to Thunderbird and have the latest version so I'm hoping like everyone else that your add-on will be updated to work.

I have a work-around in the meantime. Find highlighted text from another program and email it to yourself. Then copy the highlighted text from the email you just sent & paste into your new email and type whatever you want highlighted within the copied text. Not ideal but it works.
