Hello

I have been trying to add domains to Remote XUL Manager. I do it and it works. But when I close firefox and restart it, the domain name saved earlier is gone.

This issue has recently started. It was not earlier. I also tried reinstalling Firefox from scratch but didn't work. My firefox version is 50.1.0.

Any advice. Thanks

Thank you so much for taking the time to develop this great add-on! I use SeaMonkey, and this is absolutely required when using some of the older chatzilla plugins that would load the XUL directly from their plugin folders. This is a real life saver.

Last version does not work with 41 but v1.2.4.1-signed works which is very surprising :)

I only did 2 tests:
1. With EN-US <bdo style="background-color: rgb(255, 120, 124);" id="sthz51-6" class="prxsthM42">Seamonkey</bdo> 2.33 (German Language pack) Build 20150308222025 (Default Theme) on German WIN7 64bit. Goal was to get the "SeaMonkea deutsch" Sidebar <bdo style="background-color: rgb(224, 144, 255);" id="sthz50-3" class="prxsthM42">from</bdo>
http://www.<bdo style="background-color: rgb(255, 120, 124);" id="sthz49-6" class="prxsthM42">seamonkey</bdo>.at/sidebar/sidebar.xul
working in <bdo style="background-color: rgb(255, 120, 124);" id="sthz48-6" class="prxsthM42">SeaMonkey</bdo>, that worked fine.
2. Short test with Firefox 36.0.1, also to test whether contents will be shown, also worked fine.

My suggestion to extend SeaMonkey valid target range has been implemented in AMO, but not in "install.rdf"

Nice addon.

Tip: to add all local files to access list just add "<file>" without quotes.

Dear villa, Sorry, It is not working. I cannot add any domain! After I enter domain name and press OK, the domain name does not come up in the box. But it is still working on my old version of FF.
I generated installer from the working version and installed it on nightly 30 but domains are not shown!!

I love this add-on as it allows me to use Firefox with Oracle Hyperion System 11.1.2.2. It out performs IE9. Now if someone could help me figure out how to install this via DOS command line so I can push this out to my other users :)

I don't understand the sense of this add-on. Since netscape.security.PrivilegeManager is disabled, the access by uri file://...xul does not give any advantage for developers anymore. Potentially I missed something.

This add-on is mostly there to support legacy applications that should be migrated to other technologies. Some use file://, while other still host their XUL applications on web servers. Some of those applications take advantage of XUL widgets and some of its features, without using the PrivilegeManager.

This is a necessary plugin to display Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Suite workspace version 11.1.2.2 in Firefox 10+. Unfortunately once installed I could not find a way to programmatically detect its presence as a plugin. For example it is not listed as a plugin in Windows Registry or in file system (that I could detect). Remote XUL Manager 1.1.1.

Are you trying to programmatically detect the presence of Remote XUL Manager? You just need to look for [email protected], which should be located in [Profile Folder]/extensions.

Tout simplement indispensable jusqu'à ce que les équipes de mozilla se décident à l'intégrer dans le "core""
