Any chance that you are updating JunQuilla for Thunderbird 102?

I would be willing to donate money to have this plugin updated.

I have it working with TB68 with no problems at all, but this is the only one that stops me from going to TB78.

Will this add-on still be developed in TB68-78?. I also think too, this add-on is very great "#1 in the first place."

This extension is great. It's a pity that Mozilla abandoned the add-on functionality that made it #1 in the first place.

This add-on is great. I use it mainly for the "Is Junk" button.

For some people who want to use it with thunderbird 68.2+ an example manifest.json that works for me is (include it in the xpi archive, which is zip compressed; see also https://developer.thunderbird.net/add-ons/tb68/overlays):

{
"manifest_version": 2,
"applications": {
"gecko": {
"id": "[email protected]",
"strict_min_version": "68.0"
}
},
"description": "Junk mail management by Mesquilla",
"developer": {

"url": "http://mesquilla.com/extensions/junquilla"
},
"name": "JunQuilla",
"version": "1.0.4",

},
"legacy": {
"type": "xul",
"options": {
"page": "chrome://junquillaapp/content/junquillaSetupWindow.xul",
"open_in_tab": true
}
}

I have not had time to even look at Jq with all the work on the other extensions. If the manifest changes sufficient, I could upgrade for 68 quickly.
have you noticed any functionality issues?

Still works fine with latest stable release after modifying the version in the extension. Currently running Thunderbird 60.7.2 x64 and all functions work fine.

+1: I'm hopeful that someone may be found to adopt this add-on and add support for Thunderbird 60+, as it's been so very helpful in improving TB's spam-fighting features.

It worked for me until I updated to thunderbird 60. I love the extension and all the help it's been to me dealing with spam. I hope it gets updated.

I really liked this addon, but it hasn't been supported for quite some time. Up through Thunderbird 52, you could hack the version number info to make it work, but old extensions are truly broken in Thunderbird 60. Hopefully this extension is revived someday!

An incomparable add-on to successfully manage (and understand) your spam.
The previous reviewer thinks that it needs to be updated for the latest versions of TB; I am currently using version 52.1.1 and the add-on works perfectly out of the box. Mind you, though its core functionality is to laser focus on your spam, it does this via several different processes; I would highly recommend viewing the developer's introductory page at http://mesquilla.com/extensions/junquilla, which will not only help you understand the add-on's potential, but will help you achieve maximum results.
Definitely one of the best and most useful TB add-ons available.

Great tool for analyising SPAM-Scores.

This add-on provides excellent transparency for the junk mail filtering process. First, it provides insight into how well the process is working by showing the spam score for each e-mai. Uncertain cases can be displayed in a special folder (actually, a filtered version of the inbox), and you can then vote them as spam or not using optional "Is Junk" and "Not Junk" buttons. This trains the Baysian filter so it can discriminate better. Beyond that, the add-on provides a number of other helpful features. Well done!

This extension is the only thing that makes email work for me - so much email is in that grey zone between definitely spam, and definitely good, and this is the only tool I've found that lets me scan that grey-zone and find the important stuff.

The "Junk Analysis Detail" functionality is amazing. I was wondering how useful a specific mail alias I receive it. I looked at a spam I received on it and could see that the "to:" token generated for the address had a 100% spam probability, which helped me decide I really don't need that alias anymore if all I get is spam.Definitely do check out the author's page on the extension for other good information.

Works great! It's nice to see the surety percentage. NOTE: If you're on Thunderbird 24, be sure to get the version 1.0.3 from the"View other versions" link as 1.0.2 has some issues with the folder notifications/icons. Until 1.0.3 gets reviews the main download link gets the older version.

JunQuilla causes problems with the new release V24.
If the plugin is activated Thunderbird lacks blue highlighting of folders and accounts with unread messages.
Removing the plugin results in normal behavior of Thunderbird as expected.

My inbox was getting so cluttered--it was driving me insane! With this add-on, peace and tranquility have been restored. Many thanks to the angel developer who invented this one!

Great: add what is missing in Thunderbird concerning junk-mail, including an important toolbar button "mark as not junk" (available), who is as important as the "mark as junk button" when the adaptive junk mail controls are enabled in TB.

The Thunderbird junk filter doesn't tell you much about what it's up to. This add-on provides the information you need, and extra training buttons. It's an extremely welcome add-on provided by a developer who takes great pains to ensure that it keeps up to date with new versions of Thunderbird. It would be nice if the "mark and train" functions provided by the add-on's buttons could be duplicated in the right-click menu for an individual message, but that's a very minor point.
