Automatic Dictionary

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is just amazing. It automatically switches your dictionary to the language you actually need when typing. This needs to be integrated into Firefox. :-)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.10.1).  This user has a previous review of this add-on.

FireTray

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works still great on Thunderbird 52.2.1 on Ubuntu MATE 17.10.

Send and Archive

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The "Send and archive" button is essential and could become part of the default Thunderbird installation.

Contact Tabs

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

With this add-on installed, Lightning misses its title in the tab.

The issue is described in more detail in this bug report:

Beyond Australis

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

One of the best add-ons I came across to increase usability, particularly on small screens. It automatically hides the navigation bar and shows it with a very nice animation whenever required. Great add-on in combination with the "Vertical Tabs" add-on.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.8.1-signed).

RSS Icon in url bar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A must-have Add-on for users who frequently need to find out RSS feeds to feed them into the their preferred feed application. Simple & nice design!

Great idea and well done implementation.

Evertything works as advertised on TB 24.5

Thank you!

Autohide Folders panel

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This Add-On is wonderful. It allows me to make more use of my small laptop screen, particular in vertical view mode. I personally very like the default view of the Mac OS X email client.

I tried to imitate its view in TB. Autohide allows me to see more content of my middle pane (inbox)

Thanks a lot!

BlunderDelay

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great extension. I often encountered my emails ending up in the outbox for unknown reasons. Particularly when forwarding and replying to multiple people. Often I did not notice it and people were waiting for my response for a long time.

Although this extension is no longer maintained, I am very happy to report that it is still working with TB 24!

Hide Local Folders

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Quick fix to hide a not needed folder. Than you!

Works perfectly on Thunderbird 24 with Arch Linux.

gContactSync

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I remember to having used another Gmail Contacts Sync extension in the past which had some shortcomings and issues. In contast, this extension works flawlessly in the background and does its job silently.

Thank you for maintaining this great extension which helps to make Thunderbird a superb Gmail client.

Thunderbird Conversations

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thunderbird without Conversations installed just misses something. If you are used to conversations view, for instance from Gmail, then you have to have this extension.

The quality of the extension is great and the responsiveness of the developer, too.

Thank you so much for maintaining this extension!

QuickFolders (Tabbed Folders)

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great functionality, great enhancement. The default design, however, does not integrate very nicely into the default Thunderbird UI. But thanks to the extensive options, I was able to tweak its visual appearance to have a perfect fit:

Correct Identity

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

If you want to use multiple aliases, then this is the extension to go with. I have never looked into other extension because this one treats my multiple Gmail addresses just extremely well. Thank you for maintaining this extension!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.1).

Contact Tabs

Integrates very nicely into the default view and feels like a native feature of Thunderbird. Overall, clean, lean and elegant. Thank you for maintaining this extension!

Lightning

THE extension if you want to synchronise with Google Calendar. It just works without any issues or complexities in setting it up. Thank you so much for maintaining this extension!
