If you hold your head just right, and whisper an incantation, you CAN highlight text. But (a) if you make a mistake it is very hard to undo (you must select ONLY the highlighted characters), and (b) indented text in the thread cannot be highlighted.

Nice to have, a bit goofy that highlighting is not built in to TB. But...some blocks of text cannot be highlighted, and other blocks, once highlighted, cannot be Cleared.
