Tried to use this to run a custom web app from my own server. Loaded the app fine, but every time I clicked a link within the app to actually use it, it opened my browser. Kinda defeats the purpose. Webapp Tabs worked flawlessly with no fuss.

Thunderbird 52 has fixed the issue, and now the module works properly !!
This wasn't thundertabs' fault.
Happy to re-use it

This is such a good idea, unfortunately for me the 2 things I was hoping it would work for (Wunderlist and Slack) don't work within these tabs.

If at some point in the future they are able to function in there, this would be brilliant

Extremely handy to easily access all existing about: pages in TB from about:about. Also to install addons without annoyingly having to download them from browser first. Is the best solution I found since WAT addon ceased to work, and ThunderBrowse needs update.

This won't allow to follow links and browse normally opening new pages, what seems a TB restriction for safety, but you can copy link and again open it in a new tab in case needed.

Is working on TB 51.0a1, and contrary to what other comment say, for me it appears in the list of installed extensions. The only thing missing is a keyboard shortcut/menu item.

For TB 5.0 I unpacked... changed the install.rdf maxVersion to 5.0 and it seems to work after being rezipped.. I'd prefer a xpi from the dev though ;-) YMMV

This extension don't appears in the list of installed extensions, so it's impossible to uninstall. WHY ?
I would like to uninstall it, as this behavior is suspicious for me, so please, could you help me? thanks!

Fantastic extension - so far working perfectly in TB 3.1.10, as soon as I open TB I get all my social accounts as well, one-stop comms hub! It doesn't show up in the Add-Ons window, which confused me, but by right-clicking on the toolbar and choosing 'Customize' I could drag and drop the button no problem.

One feature request - the option to open website link from rss feeds in a tab. At the moment it opens them in FF - a workaround is to right-click the link, copy link location, then hit the thundertab button and paste, but if TB could default to using the thundertab that would be amazing!

Thanks for such a useful extension!

ok. cool stuff. i found the way... the file "cert_override.txt" in the firefox profile dir contains the user-generated certificate-exceptions. so i simply copied this file to the thunderbird profile dir. :-)

I use WAT. I'm not sure what advantage this has over that add-on. WAT does the same, but better. You have to enter the URL every time you create a tab. WAT allows you to save predefined tabs.

Otherwise this works as described.

Works perfectly, very fast response from Developer regarding Wave (needed http://wave.google.com/wave/?nouacheck). Good work!

Sweet!! Finally I don't have to do the error console to get a tab up. I use this for my various google stuff and meebo. Though I'm tempted to just go to opera because of the email integration in the web browser and tabs.
