Great plugin but unfortunately it stopped working with TB Supernova 115.1.1
Thanks for review! It does work but not all features are available in v115. You can put blame on TB for removing bunch of stuff in v115. Here is more information:

A very nice addition but I have one remark about refreshing the added note icon in the email list. We use three computers and notes are stored on a network drive. If I add a note on one computer, only after closing and opening thunderbird on the other computer I see the added note icon in the email list. In the XNote add-on, the icons of added notes refresh immediately in the email list on all computers (no need to close and reopen thunderbird).

Wow I love this thing ! It's almost exciting!
You even thought of export for safety. You're a lord!
I really wish Windows had a similar thing for folders.

Great addon. I would love to have the notes stored as emal headers on the IMAP server so that several people mounting the mailbox share the notes (use case : support team, avoiding simultaneous access).
It did crash TB 102.7.1 until I removed the storage folder so it got started fresh.

QNOTE++ has been working perfectly fine for me in the past. Unfortunately with TB 102 Beta 1 it's broken. Could you please make it functional again? Contribution is on its way. Thank you
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.11.1).Better way to put this is not QNote is broken, but rather they broke extensions API (again) :/
P.S.
Thanks for donation!

Notes are not "shareable" across IMAP, correct? It would be really SUPER if I could place notes on a message that would be viewable by other users on the same IMAP account.
But great product! Love it!
This is out of QNote use case. You can always share messages via shared folder. Adding IMAP manipulations would bloat up code base, hard to debug, introduce nasty bugs due various IMAP implementations floating around, etc.

It is great, but does not work well with Nostalgy++ extension. I cannot write into the floating panel (nothing happens), but Nostalgy grabs the keystrokes. If I change it to "Popup window", it works well, but this popup always pops up in the center of the screen and positioning does not work.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.10.4).You can bump Nostalgy++ author to apply a fix:

First I got no keyboard focus, then I restarted TB and after several tries the keyboard focus was back. But now the Qnote is not resizable and not movable, see issue #19

Just updated to TB 91.3.0 and it works just fine so open an issue and give a comprehensive description.

Just installed . . .
So far -- so great! The buttons are there. The context menu is there. Display columns are showing. I can enter notes. BTW I like "Use ESC to close note without saving". (I would like a tiny OK button, next to the trash can?) I like that notes are displayed below the headers in the main message panel.
Thank you!

Using QNote, very good.
But when using Dark Mode the Text is unreadable due to white Font on Post-It-yellow ground. That is in the E-Mail Preview List.
Using QNote 0.10.3 on TB 91.1.1 Dark mode.

QNote is a super add-on (XNote++ was also)! Thanks to the author for his work.
But I'm not satisfied that ESC closes the note without saving. The Xnote++ ESC saved and closed the note and it was very practical.

Thank you.
Thanks! Update is under development already :)

QNote is a great add-on. It is working seamlessly with Thunderbird and the GMail IMAP server. I find it indispensable for, e.g., dealing with quotes and shipment email from Dell. All the email subjects are similar and don't give me enough information. With QNote, I can add the estimated ship date and other information where I can see it without having to open the email. I can also sort by the QNote column (in local mail folders) to get an overview quickly. Because this is such a handy piece of software, I donated!

This is a great plugin. Have used it ever since xnote wasn't working. Thank you.
I am just wondering if there is a way to export qnote to xnote++.

Unable to use addon - Kept on giving error "Component returned failure code: 0x80520012 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND) [nsIFile.moveTo]" when trying to save note though specified folder is a valid folder on Nextcloud
