How do I customize this addon? I looked at "events and tasks" and there is nothing there???!!!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.8).

It should be in the main menu. See new screenshot which I uploaded to addon page.

It works for me under 78.7.1. If you just updated Thunderbird and it stopped working try to uninstall the addon it and install again.

Works fine with TB 68.5
It took a little time to determine the meaning of "new period tab".
It would be nice if the developer could actually color the tabs themselves.

I love this add-on. But could you guys fix it please?

When I select `Today` the calendar itself is correct but the month tab is last month.

The bug started around Thunderbird 52.4.0 & Lightning 5.4.4. I am now up to 5.7.0 & 5.4.7.

Update: I found the github for this add-on and posted the bug there. Hopefully he'll fix it.

Seems to always show the previous month as selected. Very confusing.

Thanks for developing this. However, there is a bug (that I believe others are reporting)--the highlighted tab shows the wrong dates. For example, in week view, Lightning will display week 2 in X month, while the tab from this add-on highlights and displays week 1 in X month.

When using Month view, and Day 1 does not occur on Sunday, the prior month is highlighted instead of the month shown next to "Today"

This is very very helpful in daily life.
But there is a little bug: choose any tab. The tab is highlighted by the date being bold.
Now go to the minicalendar in the top left, choose a month last year. This is displayed in the current tab. OK, but now we show no longer january 2017, so the tab should no longer be marked in bold (it is not selected).
many thanks,

Klaus

I'd give 5 stars if there was the possibility to use week numbers instead of dates and abbreviations for the month names. As it is now, tabs are too wide (I like to keep my calendar window narrow). Also beeing able to start the week with Monday would also be nice. At the moment this setting leads to problems with the week views.

very usefull
in the multiweeks view, it will be usefull if the periods of the tabs could be contiguous
eg
week 3 nov - 14 dec | week 15 dec-25 jan | and so on
now they shifted after a week only

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3).

Thanks for using my addon :-)
The periods in multiweek view are based on the period of the previous and next buttons in the middle bar (that black triangles around today button). I believe that in older versions of Lightning these buttons switched longer periods, not weeks. I can add an option to switch longer periods with my addon in that view...

Lightning Month Tabs was a much-needed step forward. Now Lightning Calendar Tabs brings the navigation tool to all Lightning views. Bravo!

The ability to adjust the tabs' text colour is an added bonus, recognizing that not every user has the same ability to see the contrast between the tab colour and the text. Thank you for that.

If I may, 2 suggestions:

1. In future versions (if technically possible) allow Calendar Tabs to replace Month Tabs, preferably with the user's permission. As it is now, they can coexist when both are installed.

2. Consider allowing the user to set tab colours.

Over all, a simple, to-the-point, essential extension for Lightning that works.

And may be - every sunday or another day - red (or another color) tab?
