Hi Chris

This is what I know:

- ImportExportTools NG version: 4.0.4
- Thunderbird version: 68.2.0 (32-bit)
- Export from Apple Mail options/file format: There are no options to select. All I do is choose a folder to store the structure.
- Confirm you were using import (mbox?) With subfolders: I am using "Import one or more mbox-files with subfolders" which is option 2.

I am using MacOS Catalina Version 10.15 and Apple Mail version 13.0 (3594.4.19).

My folders are NOT named *. sbd! Just normal folder names.

Top level looks like this:

Folder "Test"
File (which turns out to be a folder as well): "Test.mbox".

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.0.4).

thanks for the information! I have created an issue the repository, can you go there to continue this, it's much better for tracking issues in this location
https://github.com/thundernest/import-export-tools-ng/issues/28
I am posting some next steps there

I have exported a structure of mailfolders and messages from Apple Mail.
The structure looks fine with proper folder names when exported.

I move the structure with a USB-drive to my Windows 10 PC and try to import the entire structure.

I am having no luck as only the top level folder gets imported. That folder is named "mbox###" and not the name of the top level folder.

Messages are fine in the imported folder but no sub-folders are imported.

Can you provide a few more details:
- ImportExportTools NG version
- Thunderbird version
- Export from Apple Mail options/file format
- Confirm you were using import (mbox?) With subfolders

I fixed several import issues in v4.0.3 & v4.0.4
during which I did a fair amount of testing

For issue debugging it's always helpful to use the repository issues
where we can do a proper back-and-forth.
