I can't send messages anymore. There is no error message, the sending box remains active and nothing happens.

UPDATE: try OWL - it is working for me. It's from same development team and they were kind and transferred my license from Exquilla to OWL.

thunderbird 115.2.3 / Ubuntu 23.04 / Gnome. TB installed from thunderbird-next PPA. Exquilla 115.2.
After upgrade from TB 115.2.2 (where everything was working) Exquilla stopped to send messages.
Few reports over email left without response, so writing here. Please check [email protected] for more details on the bug.
This is not the first case, when official support email is completely silent. While extension works, it's ok, but it's impossible to get proper support in case of issues. Which are present, to be frank.

Hi Team,
Same for me 115.2, sending mails is not working anymore since a couple of days with no modification on my hand.
I just sent an email with the console error "NS_ERROR_XPC_JAVASCRIPT_ERROR_WITH_DETAILS: [JavaScript Error: "server is null" {file: "resource:///modules/SmtpService.jsm" line: 331}]'[JavaScript Error: "server is null" {file: "resource:///modules/SmtpService.jsm" line: 331}]' when calling method: [nsISmtpService::sendMailMessage]"
Reinstalling the plugin does not solve the problem.
Incomming email works.

Hello,
While upgrading to thunderbird 115.2.3 , I can't send email any longer but I can receive.
OS: Linux Mint 21.2 Cinnamon, exquilla version 115.2

I've just tested it, and it works for me. We'd need more information from you to help you.
You didn't send us any details. Please give us more information about the problem. We cannot reproduce the problem, and without information from you, we cannot help you.
* Which error message do you get? Please send the exact error message, so that we can understand why it doesn't work. If you get no error, then please describe the symptoms in detail, why you say "it doesn't send". What do you see?
* Which Thunderbird and ExQuilla version did you use before? Did you upgrade both at the same time, or did you use ExQuilla 115.2 already with the previous Thunderbird version and upgraded only Thunderbird now?
* What is your server?
* Do you have other accounts configured in Thunderbird?
* Please send the list of SMTP servers configured in Thunderbird. Please see https://support.beonex.com/help/en-us/2-setup/11-i-can-receive-email-but-i-cannot-send-any-emails
* Please include the Error Console output, and the ExQuilla Error Log, both reachable from the Thunderbird menu.

Exquilla 115.2 on TB 115. Can't display messages, error message "Failed to perform expand on server".
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (115.2). This user has a previous review of this add-on.Could you please send an email to [email protected] , with more details? E.g. Does the message have attachments? Do only new messages not display, or also older ones? etc.

HI, since last plugin update, plugin still doesn't works on v102 (account not showing in forder pane).
On v115, display is Ok , but i've got another problem, I can't display emails having attachements, I've got an error message 'image "exquilla:xxxxxx" can't be displayed as it contains errors" and I'm unable to even read the email.
We're looking into this problem.

Hi, today July 18, 2023 my system does not show the email accounts (2) in the mail panel, only show local folders. I need my system working.

I'm sorry that your account no longer shows up. It appears that some users who use Thunderbird 102 with ExQuilla 115.1 are affected. It seems to work for most users with this combination, but not all. We have not yet figured out what causes this.
What makes it difficult for us is that we cannot reproduce the problem. It works for us, in the same combination of software versions. There must be some factor which triggers the problem, but we haven't found what triggers it. Anybody who can help us find that factor would be highly appreciated. Our support is watching exquilla.support (at) beonex.com for indications. If you figured something out, please let us know.
Again, sorry for the troubles.
P.S. TB 102 with ExQuilla 102.1 and TB 115 with ExQuilla 115.1 appears to work, at least we have not received contrary reports. But note that upgrading to TB 115 is a one-way street, TB won't allow you to go back with your profile.
UPDATE 2: We have 2 potential fixes which we are testing now. We are planning to release them in the next day, then pending review of TB.
It was a complicated problem where Thunderbird hides the account. We previously had unrelated code that happened to re-adds the account to the folder pane, so that was hiding the bug, but that code doesn't exist in anymore ExQuilla 115, making the original bug appear again. Now that we know the cause, we have a fix.

I received the update yesterday but still have the problem with the Exquilla account not showing in the folder pane, therefore still cannot access the account.
Update: I communicated with support and they provided a link to ExQuilla 102.1. I installed it and everything is working now. I actually had to install a few times because it kept automatically updating to 115.1 but I finally got that resolved.

I rate Exquilla highly, but today's update causes an issue with the account not being shown in the Folders pane, while the account itself including all data is fine.
Reported to Beonex for support.
Our sincere apologies. In our attempt to support TB 115, we made mistakes and broke sending and the folder pane display in TB 102. We regret to have cause troubles for your work flow. We're sorry for that.
We have identified the problems and fixed them. A new release is uploaded to addons.thunderbird.net, but is currently waiting for review by Thunderbird. Once released, this should hopefully fix the problem.

Danke für das Addon. Ich hätte sonst zu Outlook für die Dienstemails wechseln müssen. Und hiermit kann ich Thunderbird weiter nutzen. Die 10 EURO sind gut angelegt. Läuft perfekt

Exquilla was for many years excellent solution how to work with MS Exchange. But now is the better solution ... OWL for Exchange.

I'm using this add-on for a long time on my linux machine. It works reasonably, but there is some issue regarding attachments. For example pdf attachment opened in internal viewer crashes whole thunderbird, save all button saves nothing, etc.
Another account in the same thunderbird installation behaves normally.

I've been using ExQuilla for some time and now I just tested it with the new Thunderbird 91. Setup and basic functionality are working fine. I can send/receive Emails without problems, so far so good.
I don't see any problems in paying a small annual fee, the developers are indeed working to maintain the addon for every new version of Thunderbird.

Update: I tried to find a 'donate' button on the plugin's homepage but found a paid license instead. €10/yr for 10+ emails per day is good value IMO but still wish there were a 'pay as you feel' element. Thanks developers in any case, this is a great plugin that just works.

This add on best for exchange account Ubuntu but sir in windows
We could not find an auto discover site for your email address, either because it does not exist, or because the name and password failed. This may be because your server does not support Exchange Web Services (EWS). If your server does not support EWS, then ExQuilla will not work for you. If you believe this to be in error, try manually entering the EWS URL.
This message show and not sync Exchange account but in Ubuntu they work very Well

Regarding your specific error, if it works on one computer, but not on another, and the server is identical, then the most likely source of problem is some kind of network configuration on your Windows computer. It should also be a SSL certificate problem. Check whether some anti-virus program is interfering with the HTTPS connections.
I hope this helps to find the problem.

The admin in my organization updated their exchange server and wanted me to believe that deleting and reconfiguring the account would solve my access-problem. My admin told me I was a 'niche-user' because I'm on linux. Then he advised me to use Evolution. Then I stumbled on this plugin and everything is rockin' & rollin' again! Thank you so much! I love Thunderbird!
