NO WAY am installing an add-on that clearly states it wants access to my entire computer, regardless of it actually having it or not. You'd have to be a fool to accept that!
See here for why this message appears: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/permission-request-messages-thunderbird-extensions#w_have-full-unrestricted-access-to-thunderbird-and-your-computer
Rest assured the add-on does not make use of these broad permissions.

Le module ne s'affiche pas en entier, je n'ai accès qu'à une dizaine d'emojis de la première colonne. J'ai bien la version 78 qui correspond à ma version Thunderbird.

I can't get the emojis. download says that the file isn't verified. Please advise, as I am also very tired of the standard emojis
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.78.7).Please try installing through Thunderbird itself by following the instructions here under the heading "The ideal case": https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/installing-addon-thunderbird#w_the-ideal-case

Works fine. But why does this need full and unlimited access to my computer? Or to Thunderbird, for that matter.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.78.7).It doesn't. I don't know why this message appears. The only configured permission in the manifest.json is "storage", needed to save the preference setting.

Perfect fit as those standard emoli's where killing me with how sad they looked.

78.6.1 but when the emoji's are put in they appear for 0.01 seconds then do not show - received as (x) to the recipient, what's the issue?

I can give 4 stars because I've tested this extension on another comptuer. However, on the computer I'm writing from right now, although I have installed and activated Emoji, it does not display in the tool bar. I can't find it either in the "Personalise" menu. Also, let me specify that I'm running Thunderbird 78.6.1 (32bits).
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.78.7).The add-on can be shown by selecting "Emoji" from the View menu in the compose window.

Thank you for this add-on.
That said, I think I discovered a bug, when using Emoji with DKIM Verifier, it returns an error of "Invalid (corrupted email)".

I love this emoji add on, but it disappeared from the toolbar even though it's installed. I have tried reinstalling it with no luck. I am currently using Thunderbird 78.1.1. Any advice to get it back? Thanks!
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.68.4).The add-on is not yet compatible with TB 78. Progress is tracked here: https://github.com/mganss/EmojiAddIn/issues/34

I loved it while it worked. Doesn't work in 68.11.0, Win 10 since a week or so ago. Where did all those neat emojii go?
Ah, I see. Its there. Before there was a tab at the top of the compose window. So, that's how I can access them. Thank you.
It's likely that it just needs to be re-enabled. Check if there is an entry called Emoji in the View menu of the Compose window.

It's not working in Thunderbird 78.0.1
Can you pleased update it ?
Can you add more/better looking ones ?
Thank you
An update is planned, follow progress here: https://github.com/mganss/EmojiAddIn/issues/34
I'll also update to the latest JoyPixels. Different icon sets are not planned, IMO JoyPixels are among the best looking emoji plus they've also been very fast updating to the latest Unicode standard.

Worked before stopped working version 68.10 32 bit version. Does not update automatically
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.68.4).What exactly does not work? Perhaps you just have to enable the toolbar button again, see https://github.com/mganss/EmojiAddIn#thunderbird
The add-on automatically updates through Thunderbird's integrated add-on update mechanism.
If it still does not work for you, please open an issue at GitHub: https://github.com/mganss/EmojiAddIn/issues
Thanks

Love this extension! However, now it stopped working with latest thunderbird version. :-(
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.68.3).Which version of TB are you using? The add-on works fine in TB 68.x. What exactly does not work? Please open an issue at https://github.com/mganss/EmojiAddIn
Thanks
