This really streamlines my daily tasks - please please, update for Thunderbird 3!

The Next! and Previous! buttons do NOT work for me on unread messages.(TB 3.0.4 on WinXP) That was the feature I loved most in this add-on. So I uninstalled it with a small tear in my eye ;-)
I will really miss this. Used to work like a charm in TB 2. something. :-(

btw: developer hompage seems not to work either.

The Next! and Previous! buttons do indeed work. Perhaps it is a bit confusing if you missed the "!" but all of the buttons in the pack end in it. Just what I needed.

Thank you!

This only works with UNread meassages. I have TB version 2.0.0.23. The statement that this allows one to "navigating through all messages instead of just unread ones" is incorrect on my machine despite that I fall within the indicated parameters.

i added these buttons - removed the old ones and installed these on my toolbar and they do nothing. restarted TB just to see if that would do it, but nothing. I click on next and i'm still sitting at the same email (and it's not the last in my inbox)

Ein tolles Addon, hatte is in den Vorversionen imme benutzt, ab TB3x war es nicht mehr kompatibel. Ich habe s genauso gemacht wie David.Vincent am 21,02.2010 beschrieben hat...et voila.

The Previous! and Next! buttons installed just fine for me in TB 3.0.3, and they work as described -- backward and forward while viewing a message regardless of whether other messages are read or unread. They also work in folder lists just like the up and down arrow keys.

The edit of the .rdf file allows the add-on to install.
But none of the features seem to work for me (TB 3.0.1)

Great add-on. I use it from a long time.
For making this add-on work with Thunderbird 3.0.1 you should do:
- Delete this add-on
- download add-on to your harddrive
- Open xpi-file with WinRar (or other)
- open file install.rdf
- change the text 3.0a1
to 3.0.1
- save the file
- start Thunderbird and import xpi-file.

The Next and Previous buttons (that walk through all messages, not just the unread) are priceless. Views drop-down is equally useful! My sincere thanks to the author of this little gem :-)

I agree with Dick. This is ... or was ... an invaluable extension and the first one I missed after upgrading to TB 3.0. I would love to see this ported over to work with the latest version(s) of Thunderbird.

Nicht konfigurierbar - hang over

Unable to configure Archive! button functionality in TB3.0: The drop down list for "Select a folder to add" is not populated with anything at all.

Archive! is the button I use the most. Absolutely love it.

Also, I'd like the ability to have a default Archive! folder tied to a specific account. For example, I poll my home and work accounts in TB and have separate archive folders in each account. I realize I can choose the Archive! toolbar button dropdown list and show other folders I've configured, but this slows me down because of the frequent need I have to archive messages in both accounts.

Will post this same message to the discussion forum for this add-on so I can work with the developer.

Not working in TB 3.0
I used "delete spam" but now doesn't work anymore.

Echoing some comments of Gordon Lack: several buttons I'd used in TB2 did reappear on my toolbar after upgrading to TB3, but perform nothing (or nothing useful) any more.

It took me 3 days to find anything for navigating to the next or the previous message without leaving my current tab (seems basic and vital, no?). The old buttons had appeared but, in TB3, are duds. The *actually working* TB3 buttons for these functions (I just located minutes ago) look almost identical to the ones for finding the next/previous unread message - which I would never happen to need. I'm suggesting these two sets of buttons should look much more different from each other.

Previous! and Next! do work in a tab (for me), but not a new window.
Also - Delete Junk! has stopped working completely (New Wndow, tab, etc...).
Looking forward to these getting fixed. This functionality is essential to anyone - surely?
All message in my filed folders have been read, so the standard Previous and Next are no-ops there (just plain daft) and Delete Junk! means just that - if it's junk, why do I want to send it to Deleted? - I just want it to be destroyed - completely.

Great add-on, used it from the start, but it doesn't work in TB3 (b4 or final).

I confirm the message of Jeff Allison.
"Just upgraded to Thunderbird 3 and I see that the Previous! and Next! buttons no longer function. I've got mail opening in a new window, and I added the buttons to the mail window. But they don't do anything. I am hugely reliant on this functionality!"
I just add that my OS is Windows 7/64
