My Reviews
Highlighter
Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Just a quick update to my above review...it occurred to me that if I "Removed All Text Styles" (Ctrl+Shift+Y) it might at least get me back to a clean slate.
That worked.
Then I was able to select and highlight one line of text at a time and clear and recolour at will.
It appears that Highlighter just doesn't like big blocks of selected text.
I guess the lesson is just to not expect too much of this extension.

but it doesn't work. I am using TB 38.5.0 (Win7 ultimate x64) and if I select and highlight block if text...two paragraphs, for instance...and then decide I want to change the highlight colour or clear the highlighting on part of the text, it refuses to change. Ctrl+Z doesn't even work.
I can't even copy the text itself and paste it into a new "Write" window. All the highlighting pastes in the new window along with the text and still can't be removed or recoloured.
I get regular updates to TBird and keep hoping this extension will be updated as well, but no joy for several years.
I see (from previous reviews) that I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. That said, I don't have any other problems with TB.
Just wish it worked right or that there was an alternative.
